Yash Raj Films to Release Next Installment of India’s Blockbuster

Action Franchise in IMAX® Theatres

Mumbai, September 21, 2012 – Yash Raj Films Pvt. Ltd., India’s largest film studio and IMAX Corporation (NYSE:IMAX; TSX:IMX) today announced that the action thriller DHOOM:3, the next offering from YRF from the most popular franchise in the Indian film industry, will be digitally re-mastered in the immersive IMAX format and released in IMAX® theatres across India and select global locations next year. The film marks the first Indian local-language production to be released in IMAX. The Company currently has 14 IMAX theatres open or contracted to open in India.

From producer Aditya Chopra and director Vijay Krishna Acharya, and starring Aamir Khan, Dhoom:3 is the next installment in one of the most famous franchises in Indian box office history. Also starring Abhishek Bachchan, Uday Chopra and Katrina Kaif, the film tells the story of the adventures of Jai Dixit, a no-nonsense cop, and his scatterbrained partner, Ali. The success of Dhoom and Dhoom:2 have established this as Bollywood’s pre-eminent franchise.

Heroine’ debuts in 927 UFO digital theatres

Mumbai, September 21, 2012: The much-awaited film by Madhur Bhandarkar starring Kareena Kapoor, ‘Heroine’ debuts this week in 927 UFO digital theatres. ‘Barfi!’ screens in 215 UFO digital theatres in its second week while and ‘Raaz3’ in 2D & 3D screens in 204 UFO digital theatres in its third week. ‘Ek Tha Tiger’ screens in 27 UFO digital theatres in its sixth week and `Jism 2’, in its eight week, screens in 24 UFO digital theatres.

12 girls set to live the Global Fantasy as Kingfisher begins the Hunt for this Year’s Diva

The biggest surprise and exciting announcement for this edition was the news of Siddharth Mallya – the charming Mallya heir, making his debut on the small screen as a host and judge of the Hunt for the Kingfisher Calendar Girl 2013.
