The air was filled with laughter and hands clapping with awe and joy today at the Dilkush School for the specially challenged children.

In yet another endearing act hosted by Sujit Dilip’s RAMBO CIRCUS and it’s troupe, the grounds of the school was packed with children and the faculty who came to watch this special performance put together by the Circus artisans.

There was the not-so-routine acts of juggling, Clowns and midgets doing what they best known for, gymnasts with their awe-inspiring twists and turns, rope walker, ring leader and more…

This was put together as a prelude to the forthcoming World Circus Day which is celebrated for the fourth year by HSH Princess Stephanie of Monaco, who is also the President of the Federation Mondiale du Cirque, the body which promotes and monitors Circus as an Industry internationally. An entrepreneur with a passion for Supercars, Deepak Narendran is a travel enthusiast, and an example of how passion and determination can make a childhood dream come true.

Originally from Cochin, Kerala, Deepak has a Bachelors in Dentistry from Kasturba Medical College Manipal. It was around this time that Deepak was given his first car, a Maruthi 800 by his father. After graduating, he decided to spread his wings, and ventured out of his comfort zone into the hospitality industry in 2005. This move, though risky, proved to be a success, and Deepak’s entrepreneurial success grew and grew. His hard work and determination led to him owning a growing chain of hotels in Kerala. Throughout this, his passion for supercars never left him and he built a fascination with travel. Being friendly and approachable, his openness has opened doors all over the world, enabling him to learn about other cultures. One thing he loves most about travel is the opportunity to see the countryside of other lands with the wind in his hair, driving the fastest and most exotic car he can lay his hands on!

As his success in his career grew, so did his car collection. His first exotic car was a Mercedes Benz S Class, which was quickly followed by the classy SLK. Then, once International car companies started selling to India in earnest in 2007, he bought a BMW 6 Series, then a Porche Cayanne, an Audi A7, a Jaguar XJL, a Porche 911, an Audi R8…. and has most recently purchased a Ferrari F430.

As you can tell by his enviable collection of cars, Deepak is a great believer in “You only live once, but if you do it right, once is enough.” His car collection clearly reflects this philosophy!

Deepak is not content with just keeping his enjoying of these cars to himself. He passionately believes that everyone should have the opportunity to see and experience how amazing these cars can be, and wants to show to the public how much enjoyment there is to be taken from such a beautiful piece of honed and toned machinery. “SILVIA FERNANDES – NATIONAL DEBUT ALBUM”- ”UNMASKED”

It appears that Goa’s Singing Princess, Silvia Fernandes is on her way to National Stardom.

Her “par excellence” brand new music album “Unmasked” has just been released throughout India by Crescendo Music, the trendy record label, in association with worldwide recording giant, Universal Music. The album consisting of 8 unimaginably innovative, soulful and incredible tracks comprises songs in English, Hindi and Konkani. Never before has an album of such International class been exported out of Goa.

For those who still care to enjoy lying back with their eyes close and listening to songs with melodious hummable tunes and meaningful lyrics, “Unmasked” shall certainly not disappoint. Every song has been carefully crafted with great love and care and then perfectly enhanced with extraordinary musical arrangements that augment each and every one of them close to the level of perfection. Yet the innocence and simplicity of each composition remain untouched, which is that what puts ”Unmasked” several cuts above any other album that could arguably be termed as being “similar.” Therefore as you lap up the contents of this CD, you may find yourself dancing with joy at one point and then discover that you have been moved to tears a few moments later. The album features two uptempo sing along Hindi Pop tracks ”Behki” and “Aaja Nach Le”. The two romantic ballads in English, “Love Is A Funny Game” and “So In Love With You” , could put most International country singers to shame.The amazing Gospel song “Without You Lord” stands as testimony to her faith in ”Our Father In Heaven”. in Konkani “Kallke Ratint” a beautiful lullaby for any mother to sing to her child, while “Soddun Gello” talks about someone leaving you and going away. The real masterpiece of this album however, is the tear-jerking “Greedy For Your Love” in which Silvia pours out her heart’s longing for the love of her mother that she lost when she was just 7 years old.

This young and beautiful girl has been singing with various bands from the age of 15 has done hundreds of gigs, recorded several local albums, acted in a couple of Konkani films and has even featured as the female lead in a Marathi film, Aaichi Punyaee. Who would have imagined that this little bundle of talent would have even more to offer tucked away up her sleeve?

Armed with this Weapon Of Love And Emotions, Extreme Confidence, Moderate Ambition and Unfulfilled Dreams, Silvia has now set her sights on taking her music and stage performances throughout India and overseas. Supported by her newly formed band “Beat Route Jam” and backed by Crescendo, the music company which has the highest success rate of discovering, nurturing and establishing new talent, it so appears that Silvia is not just “building castles in the air”.
