U-13 Inter-School Monsoon Cup is getting better and bigger

 

 

Mumbai, 10th September 2014: Cricket India Academy (CIA) is the cricket division of Sports Education Development India Ltd (SEDIL), a leading sports development company kick starts the second season of its much popular  ‘Under-13 Inter-School Monsoon Cup 2014 (Season2)’ in Mumbai between September 3rd to September 22 at Kohinoor Cricket Academy (KCA), Off Kirol Road, Kurla (W) Mumbai. Further adding feather to Cricket India Academy tournaments “U-13 Inter-School Monsoon Cup 2014 (Season2)” has registered more than 40% increase in the number of school applications, raising the participation to 27 eminent School teams from 16 School teams as compared to last season, all the matches to be played on Kohinoor Cricket Academy (KCA), Kurla (W)- home cricket grounds of CIA

 

On the fifth day of ‘Inter School U-13 Monsoon Cup’ tournament  matches were played between ‘Ram Ratan Vidyamandir School’, ‘Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania  School’, ‘Sardar Vallabhai Patel School’ and ‘Rajhans Vidyalaya School’  on 10th  Sept 2014 at Kohinoor Cricket Academy, Kurla, Mumbai organized by Cricket India Academy – the cricket division of Sports Education Development India Limited.

 

Match 1 –

 

The first match of the day was played between ‘Ram Ratan Vidyamandir School’ Vs ‘Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School’. The toss was won by ‘Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School’ and they elected to bat first. The team scored 159 runs in 15 overs with 5 wickets. In the second innings, ‘‘Ram Ratan Vidyamandir School’ scored 94 runs in 15 overs with 7 wickets. ‘Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School’ won the match. Master Jai Jain was adjudged the ‘Man of the Match’ for his outstanding score of 51 runs and for his haul of 1 wicket.

 

 

 

 

Match 2-

The second match was between ‘Sardar Vallabhai Patel School’ Vs ‘Rajhans Vidyalaya School’

Rajhans Vidyalaya School’ won the toss and elected to bat first. The team got all out scoring80 runs in 12.2 overs. In second inning ‘Sardar Vallabhai Patel School’ successfully chased the target with 6 wickets in 13. 1 overs.  ‘Sardar Vallabhai Patel School’ won the match by 4 wickets.  Master Harmesh was announced ‘Man of the Match’ for his outstanding bowling performance.

 

Match 3-

Following match was betweenSmt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School’ Vs ‘Rajhans Vidyalaya School’.

Rajhans Vidyalaya School’ won the toss and elected to bat first.  The team scored 72 runs in 15 overs for 7 wickets. ‘Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School’ successfully chased the target in 6.3 overs. ‘Smt. Sulochanadevi Singhania School’ won the match by 8 wickets. Master Jai Jain was ‘Man of the Match’ for his haul of 2 wickets and for scoring 11 runs.

 

 

Match 4-

Last match of the day was between ‘Ram Ratan Vidyamandir School’ vs ‘Sardar Vallabhai Patel School’.

‘Sardar Vallabhai Patel School’ won the toss and elected to field first.  ‘Ram Ratan Vidyamandir School’ was all out scoring58 runs in 12.1 overs. ‘Sardar Vallabhai Patel School’ successfully chased the target in 6.3 overs with loss of 4 wickets. ‘Ram Ratan Vidyamandir School won the match by 6 wickets. Master Lokesh was ‘Man of the Match’ for his haul of 3 wickets.
