U-13 Inter-School Monsoon Cup is getting better and bigger

 

Mumbai, 11th September 2014: Cricket India Academy (CIA) is the cricket division of Sports Education Development India Ltd (SEDIL), a leading sports development company kick starts the second season of its much popular  ‘Under-13 Inter-School Monsoon Cup 2014 (Season2)’ in Mumbai between September 3rd to September 22 at Kohinoor Cricket Academy (KCA), Off Kirol Road, Kurla (W) Mumbai. Further adding feather to Cricket India Academy tournaments “U-13 Inter-School Monsoon Cup 2014 (Season2)” has registered more than 40% increase in the number of school applications, raising the participation to 27 eminent School teams from 16 School teams as compared to last season, all the matches to be played on Kohinoor Cricket Academy (KCA), Kurla (W) – home cricket grounds of CIA

 

On the fifth day of ‘Inter School U-13 Monsoon Cup’ tournament  matches were played between ‘Lodha World School’, ‘Billabong Int. School’ and  ‘Christ Church School’ on 10th  Sept 2014 at Kohinoor Cricket Academy, Kurla, Mumbai organized by Cricket India Academy – the cricket division of Sports Education Development India Limited.

 

Match 1 –

 

The first match of the day was played between ‘Billabong Int. School’ Vs ‘Christ Church School’

The toss was won by ‘Christ Church School’ and they elected to bat first.  The team got all out scoring 102 runs in 14.1 overs. In the second innings, ‘Billabong Int. School’ successfully chased the targetin 10.1 overs at the loss of 4 wickets.  Master Eshaan was adjudged the ‘Man of the Match’ for his outstanding score of 47 runs in 22 balls.

 

 

Match 2-

The second match was between ‘Lodha World School’ Vs ‘Christ Church School’.

Lodha World School’ won the toss and elected to field first. ‘Christ Church School’ got all out by scoring 75 runs in 10.5 overs. ‘Lodha World School’ successfullychased the target with loss of 5 wickets in 12.3 overs.  ‘Lodha World School’ won the match.  Master Jagjeevan from ‘Christ Church School’ was announced ‘Man of the Match’ for his haul of 3 wickets.

 

Match 3-

Following match was between ‘Lodha World School’ vs ‘Billabong Int. School’.

Billabong Int. School’ won the toss and elected to field first. ‘Lodha World School’ got all out scoring 91 runs in 12.4 overs. ‘Billabong Int. School’ successfully chased the target in 6.3 overs at the loss of 3 wickets. ‘Billabong Int. School’ won the match by 7 wickets. Master Utsav was ‘Man of the Match’ for his 2 wickets and 15 runs.
