Nassar to play Sherlyn’s dad in ‘Kamasutra 3D’

South legendary actor Nassar is the latest addition to the esteemed cast of the International movie ‘Kamasutra 3D’ joining the National award winner Salim Kumar and the sensuous Sherlyn Chopra. Nassar, one of the most respected actors in the South, who has worked with veterans like Mani Ratnam and Kamal Hassan, will be essaying the role of a Rajput King in Rupesh Paul’s ‘Kamasutra 3D’. Nassar’s kingdom is invaded by the Mughals, and his poetry turns out to be his only savior, as the Mughals decide to retain Nassar in the court to entertain the Mughal powers. The actor later becomes lunatic and hallucinates that he is still the mighty ruler.

Director Rupesh Paul feels that Nassar will be a perfect fit for the role of the Rajput King, and is very upbeat about this addition to this magnum opus. Sharing his excitement, Rupesh says, “Nassar is one of the most respected and gifted actors, and is a veteran like Om Puri and Naseeruddin Shah in the industry.” Nassar is sure gung ho about his role of a 14th century Rajput King in his first International Project.

Having won the Filmfare Award “Best Critic’s Choice”, Zee Cine Awards “Best Actor Jury’s Choice”, Screen Awards – Best Actress and the Lion Gold Awards Best Actress (Critics Choice) ,Vidya Balan adds another trophy to her mantle ,as she sweeps all the awards this season ,the latest being the Stardust Award – Best Actress in a Drama/Thriller genre for her performance in Kahaani.

The award came as no surprise especially since the critics were all praise for the actress ever since the thriller released.

Said acclaimed critic and trade analyst Taran Adarsh , “Post The Dirty Picture, the admiration for the National Award winning actress Vidya has scaled woozy altitudes and let me affirm, the supremely talented actress delivers a performance that’s at par with her former accomplishments.”

Said Madhureeta Mukherjee Zoom, “Once again, a ‘pregnant’ Vidya, ironically displays more ‘male ornaments’ (excuse the watering down) than most heroes.”

Shabana Azmi lauded Balan for her performance and said, “I had to watch Kahaani because of Vidya. I was bowled over by her performance. As an actor, I could see she was making all the right moves throughout the film. There was not a single artificial note in her performance.”

The National award winner, is also the only actress to have won the Best Actress Award for 4 consecutive years in a row. With Paa,Ishqya,The Dirty Picture and the recent Kahaani the actress grossed over 30+awards in the span of 4 years,a feat no one on international or home turf has managed to achieve.
