After the runaway success of Balaji Motion Pictures ‘ 2005 hit comedy Kya Kool Hai Hum, the team of the film reunites for the rib-tickling sequel, titled Kya Super Kool Hai Hum, scheduled to now release on the 27th July,2012.

One hears of postponement of films but very rarely of a preopone-ment. Those keenly awaiting the release of the laugh-out-loud comedy ‘Kyaa Super Kool Hain Hum’ have reason to rejoice. The film, originally scheduled to release on August 2, has been pre-poned by a week.

Balaji has grabbed the lucky weekend, which was also the time when Balaji’s blockbuster ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbaai’ had released two years back.

While Neha Dhupia and Esha Koppikar played the female leads in the earlier version, Sarah-Jane Dias and Neha Sharma are cast opposite the boys in the sequel that takes audiences on a mad road trip to Goa, this time around, in search of love.

Directed by Sachin Yardi,Kya Super Kool Hai Hum follows the story of how the leads maneuver their way out of crazy situations as the comic pandemonium unfolds.

While the music and satellite rights have been sold much before the release, the all-India distribution rights of the film too have sold for a whopping amount ,beating the figures of several big-films much to the makers delight.

Except for Sooraj, neither of us really have a major physique and to ensure that we got the right expression and feel, we really fought with the ‘pehelwan’ injuring ourselves. Each time we entered the ring to shoot the action it felt as though we were going into a battle.”

Actress Sapna launches Ban Sunny Leone, Veena Malik campaign on Facebook

At a Press Conference held in Mumbai, veteran actress Sapna launched a massive tirade against Mahesh Bhatt, Sunny Leone and Veena Malik and called for a complete ban on Veena Malik and Sunny Leone from working in India.

Speaking in the presence of various TV news channels including ABP News (formerly Star News), News 24, Aajtak, TV9, India TV and several others, Sapna categorically stated that Veena Malik is indulging in illegal activities in India. “Any person on a work visa in India cannot accept payments in cash for services rendered. The payment has to be made by account payee cheque only. Veena Malik has been receiving payments most in cash and allegedly using hawala to repatriate the money to benami bank accounts in Dubai and Pakistan. Sapna also claimed that Veena Malik allegedly has underworld links and was involved in the betting racket in Pakistan. She has been dishonored and thrown out of her own country. Why are we tolerating her in our country where thousands of girls are struggling for work? What is her USP,” asked Sapna?

Similarly, she attached Mahesh Bhatt for casting a porn star in his film. “Does Mahesh Bhatt keep searching for porn stars on the internet? With so many Indian girls ready to do hot scenes and other glamour roles, what was the need for Sunny Leone? And now Bhatt saab is auctioning Sunny Leone’s bikini and undergarments to garner publicity for his film? If Bhatt saab wanted money, he could have appealed to all Indian women, they would have donated their underwear to Mahesh Bhatt so that he could raise money for the publicity for his films,” retorted Sapna.

Sapna had filed a non-cognizable complaint on Monday at the Amboli Police Station in suburban Mumbai (NC No 1208 / 2012) u/s 507 of the Indian Penal Code against some unknown persons allegedly claiming to act for and on behalf of Mahesh Bhatt and Veena Malik. The callers allegedly threatened her with serious bodily harm besides abusing her and her family on two occasions in the last 24 hours for speaking out against Mahesh Bhatt and Veena Malik.

The threatening calls were trigged by Sapna’s interview to a local publication, in which she had said that Mahesh Bhatt is a porn director and Veena Malik should be sent back to Pakistan. “Veena Malik should try supporting homosexuals and prostitutes in Pakistan instead of trying out these publicity stunts in Mumbai,” is what Sapna said in her interview. She had also alleged that Mahest Bhatt is promoting pornography in India which is a crime.

Sapna lashed out at some other actresses in the film industry. Speaking exclusively to http://futuristicmedianetwork.wordpress.com, she said, “There are only buffaloes, prostitutes and cows (sands, raands and bhaisain) today in the film industry. I have done over 300 films in the last 20 years and I am still shooting every day. The other girls only sleep around to get work,” she lamented saying that girls in the industry are very much to blame for the casting couch.

“Most girls in the film industry are only good at bed work. They have no understanding of camera work, dance and acting. Girls like Poonam Pandey, Rozlyn Khan, Veena Malik and others who cannot act, are making money by circulating fake nude photographs in the media. Most girls are only capable of bed work,” she said referring to the casting couch that is all prevalent in the industry.

The romantic-comedy will see the actors essaying the role of a married couple who are coping with their issues, much on the comic lines of the first film.

The Malad Police in Mumbai has registered a case against Chaudhary for intending to dishonor Vivek & confining him to his flat. The ban has now been lifted & seems Raja missed all the paparazzi & he found his way into the media through his onetime dear friend Vivek Sharma.

Veena does photoshoot for Homosexual Rights

Despite broad worldwide gains for gay rights, homosexuality remains criminalized in many countries. But Bollywood Hottie Veena Malik took initiative to support homosexuality. She did a photo shoot in patronage of LGBT Community.

Multi-tenant Cloud Service Offers Telcos Easy Entry to the Mobile Security Market

India –13 June, 2012 – McAfee and 2e2 have announced a partnership to globally deliver McAfee Enterprise Mobility Manager (EMM) to service providers and large enterprises as a cloud-based managed service. Partnering with 2e2, McAfee will be delivering cloud-based access to highly-scalable, customizable mobile device management and security solutions to large and small commercial customers through Telcos and Service Providers.

Maya Digital Studios continues with its high quality International work for Piranha 3DD

Movie to hit screens on June 15

Mumbai, 12 June 2012: Maya Digital studios, the company that pioneered the art & technology of animation & visual effects in India in the 1990s is now also focussing on the conversion of 2D content into Stereoscopic 3D.

Continuing with its legacy of high quality international work, Maya Digital Studios has handled the complicated and challenging task of padding up and enhancing the chills and thrills for the Hollywood movie Piranha 3DD. This much awaited movie is scheduled to hit the screens in India on June 15.

Piranha 3DD is a sequel to the original which released in 2010. Ever since, the franchise has built itself a huge fan base. With all the cutting edge technology at its disposal Maya Digital Studios have taken this movie to a whole new level. The visual effects promise to make this an edge of the seat experience for the audience.

The film has been shot in 3D stereoscopic format and hence matching the left & right eye was a key challenge for team Maya. Doing 2D to stereoscopic 3D conversion for an underwater film was a humongous task, given the fact that a lot of these shots also required painting out creatures and reflections, or adding other objects like modelled log in one of the key sequences. Maya also added blood and bubbles to many shots, to indicate the injuries & respiration underwater where in the fish continued to injure the people in the film.

Piranha 3DD promises to enthral the audiences giving them something they have never before seen on screen.

Piranha 3DD is a horror-comedy film directed by John Gulager from a screenplay by Marcus Dunstan and Patrick Melton and will showcase all the visual effects magic that Maya Digital Studios can conjure up on the screen.

Has IIFA 2012 flopped?

Even as celebrities like Shahid Kapoor, Farhan Akhtar, Bipasha Basu, Abhay Deol and Yuvraj Singh were leaving for Singapore for the International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2012, Bigg Boss lady Pooja Misrra smiled and showed her middle finger at the airport in Mumbai, causing embarrassment.

Now, even as the IIFA Awards conclude, there seems to be no end to the embarrassment Misrra’s lewd gesture began.

While this year, Bollywood A-listers Bachchans and Khans have been missing from the much-hyped awards; long rambling speeches, have further contributed in IIFA 2012 turning out to be a lukewarm affair, reports Mid-Day.

For starters, many stars strangely decided to try out Tamil in their announcements. Ranbir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor accidentally ended up wearing each other’s jackets throughout their performance at the awards night. Shatrughan Sinha kept talking about himself and his own upcoming film. He then addressed Rekha her as “the OLD, gold, bold and beautiful Rekha,” while she didn’t know where to look, states the report.

It adds that while talking about how the divine Rekha has been inspiring most young actresses, Priyanka Chopra left out mentioning Vidya Balan’s name from the list. Even veteran director Ramesh Sippy’s thanksgiving speech turned out to be a long-winding affair. First Javed Akhtar talked; then Rishi Kapoor went on, then Kamal Haasan.

“IFFA is one of the biggest award brands Bollywood has got, so even minor aspects get blown out of proportion,” analyses Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar. “Instead, we should concentrate on the efforts, creativity, grandeur and toil behind such a mega event, rather than crib about little things that might not have worked out,” the publicist concluded on a positive note.
