Fever 104 FM Mumbai gives Bollywood its new singing talent

Mumbai, 30th October 2012: We all have dreams, some are fulfilled by god and for others there is Fever 104 FM. Fever 104 FM Mumbai, the fastest growing radio station has given a chance to a listener who dreamt to make it big in the playback industry. RJ Anurag Pandey aka Picture Pandey, the ultimate Bollywood networker, got his listener one step closer to their Bollywood dream.

This activity started after a listener called RJ Anurag Pandey and shared with him an incident about his friend who came to Mumbai to become a singer and on failing to do so, committed suicide. The story really moved Anuraag and also Neeraj Shridhar who was listening to the show at that hour. Neeraj called Anuraag and promised him to help any one of deserving listeners by giving them a break and recording a song in his studio.

Fever 104 FM and RJ Anuraag Pandey went through days of auditions to select the next playback singer in the film industry. After shortlisting 6 deserving candidates, Neeraj Shridhar today selected Crytal Sequeria as the winner. Crystal is 22 years old and is an engineering student and now a playback singer.

Commenting on the initiative Neeraj Shridhar says, “By the grace of God, I have achieved a lot in life and have been able to accomplish my dream of becoming a successful singer. I am glad to help someone else fulfill their dream of becoming a playback singer; this is my way of giving back to the society. It is a superb initiative by Fever 104 FM and I am happy to be a part of someone else’s dream journey”.
