Salman Khan in a recent report has praised the film and given thumbs up to the Underground Film’s Marathi remake of NO ENRTY. When asked about his views regarding the film being made in Marathi, without hesitation he replies, “Ekdum mast film banegi”. He adds, “Maharashtrian logon ka humour toh mast hota hain. The Marathi actors will definitely do justice to the bold script that this film demands.”

Ankush Chaudhari, who plays Salman’s role in the film, has big shoes to fill. He shoulders more responsibility than Salman did, as he also dons the hat of director. When asked about it, he is quick to retort, “I heard about Salmanji’s comments in a recent news article. It’s a tremendous morale booster for me. I am confident that I have not disappointed Salmanji or Aneez Bazme.” He adds, “I was blessed with an unbelievable team to work with. We sailed through the film making without hitches. My friend Bharat Jadhav and all my other co-stars and crew have been so supportive. With so much support and encouragement, it has been such a pleasure doing this film and I’m sure this movie has the makings of being a blockbuster. Now it’s left to the audience to watch and enjoy the movie, which I had so much fun making”.

Ankush Chaudhari is a well acclaimed Marathi actor and has done lots of films in Marathi and a few in Hindi as well. This was not Ankush’s first stint as director. He has been an associate director on films such as ‘Agabai Arechhya’ and ‘Jatra’. He has also independently directed the film ‘Saade Maade Teen.’

NO ENTRY PUDHE DHOKA AAHEY is a family entertainer which is the remake of Boney Kapoor’s block buster hit NO ENTRY directed by Anees Bazmee, attempts to lure Marathi film audience back to the cinemas by giving them paisa vasool entertainment. The film was a super hit in Tamil, Telegu & Malyalam languages as well. This extravagant big budgeted film shot at exotic and rich locations in Goa and Mumbai is directed by ANKUSH CHAUDHARI and produced by PREMNATH RAJAGOPALAN & NIKHIL SAINI under their banner UNDERGROUND FILMS PVT. LTD. The cast includes names such as the super talented Bharat Jadhav, Aniket Vishwas Rao role, Pandrinath Kamble, beautiful Saie Tamhankar, Kranti Redkar, Manava Naik and Sai Lokur.

Sonu Nigam greatly wanted to be a part of these song compilations, that even though he was not in India at the time of recording, he recorded his parts in the US and sent them over here.

Divine blessings of Baba Ramsaa Peer with my film – Aushim Khetarpal

Life is but a set of memories, the memories we cherish throughout and keep these treasures safe in the wallet of our heart. But some memories that get imbibed in our minds are those which give us goose bumps even after ages. Aushim Khetarpal when asked about one such memory shared his experience spent on the sets of his upcoming flick “Baba Ramsaa Peer”

While shooting for the film, Actor-Producer experienced great many things but ones that will remain with him lifelong are those that happened while shooting the climax of the film. “In myths there is a mention of Babaji coming across a beggar and later on he goes to greet his favorite cows. When we were shooting for this particular part of the movie without having setup for a beggar, when the shot was rolling a beggar from nowhere came across me. Later on the same thing happened with the cows. I came across 4 cows during the shooting of the same sequence. The shot was taken and it came out to be perfect. But it’s sure seemed like a big coincidence that such a myth would happen with us when we are shooting the saint’s story. Rather it was the divine blessings of Baba Ramdevji,” says Aushim.

The film “Baba Ramsaa Peer” which releases in September is produced by Satish Tondon productions and Orient Tradelink Ltd. The music of the film which will also include Gujarati and Rajasthani folk music is given by Surinder Bachan and the film is directed by Bhabani Prasad.

After two hit albums in the nineties, Shiamak Davar is back with his latest music album

Shiamak Davar returns to his first love – singing.

Aptly called, Shabop, Shiamak defines the title song as ‘dance, without worry’. An eclectic mix of Hip Hop and street Funk, the music is young, peppy and very modern. The cool, grunge feel of the video shot in a construction site celebrates that fact that dance is for everyone, a motto that Shiamak has stood by for two decades.

Shiamak – Shabop, the music album is a result of two years of song writing, recording, collaborating, mixing, re-mixing and mastering. Shiamak has teamed up with friends who are themselves established artists, who have inspired him and share a common passion towards music. Shankar Mahadevan, who sang backing vocals for many songs on Shiamak’s album Mohabbat Karle album, is featured on Zara Zara. In Main Chaloon, Shiamak sings along with Hariharan. Bebe with Shweta Pandit, is exuberant and sassy. In the inspirational Inam Hai Zindagi, Shiamak shares his spiritual learning. Shiamak brings back his hit single Jaane Kisne with a new, acoustic piano version. The album also features fantastic club mixes by DJ Aqeel and DJ RaOwL.

The official video of Shabop is now LIVE on Shiamak’s youtube channel ShiamakTV ( and the album can be bought from Itunes, and

Renaming Aashirwad would hurt Rajesh Khanna’s soul, says Anita Advani

The late Rajesh Khanna’s ‘lady love’ Anita Advani, who reportedly had a long-standing live-in relationship with the megastar at his Bandra bungalow Aashirwad, is extremely upset, hearing the buzz about the latemegastar’s bungalow being renamed Vardaan.

“If the rumours are true, it would hurt Kakaji’s (Rajesh Khanna’s) soul,” quipped Anita Advani, adding that “Aashirwad is synonymous with Rajesh Khanna”.

She particularly found the name-change talks upsetting, as she said, the name Aashirwad was given to the bungalow by Rajesh Khanna’s father.

“Kakaji used to fondly remember and tell me how the bungalow was named Aashirwad. When they were looking for a new name for the bungalow, his father had thought for a long time and then suggested the name Aashirwad. Kakaji has mentioned that his father said, ‘You’ll be a star and people will write letters and fan mail to you. Whenever they write your name on the letters, they will write the words – Rajesh Khanna Aashirwad. So in a way, they would always be giving you their Aashirwad (blessings).’ That was the lovely thought behind the name,” reminisced Anita Advani.

Remembering her years with the megastar, Advani remarked, “Kakaji used to say that this (Aashirwad) was the ‘most favourite’ name given by his father. The bungalow was also his most prized possession, which he wished to convert into a museum and his last wish should be fulfilled. In fact, together, over the years, we both designed its interiors with a long-term plan to convert it into a museum.”

Advani further added that she was “perturbed by the sudden name-change talks. What sense does it make? If it’s true, it’s a weird move and doesn’t sound nice.”

Reacting to claims about her asking for a stake in Aashirwad, Advani’s spokesperson Dale Bhagwagar stated, “It’s false that Ms Advani has claimed a stake in the bungalow. But she has maintained that Mr Rajesh Khanna wished to turn it into a museum for his loving fans.”

Salman Khan could tap gen next for Bigg Boss makeover!

Superstar host Salman Khan has already said that there could be a big change for India’s biggest reality show Bigg Boss; suggesting to make it more entertaining than controversial. His comments have also resulted in speculations whether Bigg Boss 6, could retain its unique volatile identity without scandal.

But Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar who has handled the media affairs for Shilpa Shetty during Big Brother and some of the most controversial Bigg Boss contestants from time to time, including Rakhi Sawant, Kashmera Shah, Sambhavna Seth, Vindu Dara Singh, Sherlyn Chopra, Ashmit Patel, Amar Upadhyay and Pooja Misrra, feels Bigg Boss could easily manage a balancing act without losing its sheen.

“What the show needs to do is simply focus on generation next,” analyses the PR specialist.

He points out that “Hrithik Roshan has done it with Koi… Mil Gaya, Dhoom, Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara and the Krrish series. Shah Rukh Khan has done it with the rebooted Don series and Ra.One. Aamir Khan has done it with Dil Chahta Hai, Rang De Basanti, Taare Zameen Par and 3 Idiots.”

“With Salman Khan’s mesmerizing presence and his penchant to interact with youth and kids, it could be cakewalk for him to tap gen next, as the show ups its entertainment quotient with double dhamaal,” comments the Bollywood publicist.

“Moreover, Salman has back-to-back mega-hits in Wanted, Dabangg, Ready, Bodyguard and Ek Tha Tiger, which makes him a super-hot proposition for executing a makeover.” What’s more! This way, Bigg Boss could come clean of being a scandalous show meant for late night viewing, and increase its audience base.

This may not only mean more eyeballs, TRP’s and higher advertisement revenues, but could also ensure a wider fan base, with the show becoming a stronger and more robust brand for the future. It sure is the most wonderful idea! Now let’s see if Bigg Boss buys it!

Bas itna sa Khwaab hain

Indian Idol 6 contestant Vipul is on cloud nine; for obvious reasons. When Dharmendra and Hema Malini visited the sets of the popular singing reality show Vipul couldn’t help but ask the actor for one small favour.

Dharmendra along with the gorgeous Hema Malini visited the sets for a very special episode. Vipul couldn’t resist the moment and poured his heart out in front of the actor. He told Dharmendra how big a fan of Sunny Deol he was and it was his heartfelt wish to meet the star. He went on to request Dharamji to make his wish come true and if possible meet the star. Dharmendra obliged immediately and promised Vipul that he would definitely fulfill his dream and take him to meet Sunny. Vipul was seen smiling from one ear to another.

Dreams do come true on idol!

Mumbai, August 20, 2012: India’s No. 1 Radio Network and Broadcaster of the year at the Golden Mikes Awards – 92.7 BIG FM saw two special visitors this Navroz when Bollywood’s newest ‘leading lady’ Farah Khan and director Bela Bhansali Sehgal popped in to the studios to promote their soon to be released film Shirin Farhad Ki Toh Nikal Padi.

Farah, well-known for hits like Om Shanti Om & Main Hoon Na as a director is now making her foray into acting, alongside actor-comedian Boman Irani. This lovable comedy based on a Parsee couple caught on the wrong side of 40s, is all set for release on 24th August 2012. In a bid to reach out to audiences across all demographics, Farah chose India’s largest radio network 92.7 BIG FM to promote her film.

Along with RJ Ankit, Farah and director Bela Bhansali Sehgal interacted with listeners on several topics. They received hearty wishes for Navroz and some valuable feedback on what the audience expected from the film. This heart-warming comedy is about two people who find love unexpectedly at the age of 40. Focusing on the unique Parsee brand of humour, this film is sure to keep audiences in splits in true Bawa style.

Speaking on the radio interaction with audiences, Farah said, “I’m so happy that I got this chance to really connect with my audience. I hope that I have given them an idea of how much fun this film is actually going to be. She further added, “Love does not recognize age; it can happen at any time. Once you cross 40 it doesn’t mean you’re past your expiry date, you can still fall in love.”

“40 is unfortunately regarded as the cut-off age for marriage and relationships. Once you turn 25 even your parents give up hope, this film will bring new hope to people who feel this way. It’s a wonderful story that shows the ability of love to transcend the obstacle that age poses and allows people to find it at any age.” added Bela Bhansali Sehgal

Commenting on this visit, the company spokesperson said, “It was a pleasure to have Farah and Bela at our studios today. We are sure that our listeners across 45 stations got a feel of what to expect from this much awaited movie. It goes without saying that there is a huge expectation from the very unique pairing of Farah and Boman. We are confident that this movie will be very successful in the Box Office and would like to wish them all the very best.”

Nautanki and Lavani, the rich traditional folk dances are creating ripples in the Indian cinema. Even an accomplished actress like Vidya Balan could not resist herself from shaking legs to the thaskas of Lavni and Shilpa Shetty’s thumkas on the “UP-Bihar” song are still fresh in our memories. Claudia Ciesla is amongst the many that enjoy these dances and have danced to the tunes of these songs for her shows.

Claudia beams, “My latest favorite item songs being Jalebi Bai, Mala Jau de, Chikni Chameli. Vidya has performed exceptionally well in Mala Jau de, her adas are killer. And Katrina too was splendid in Chikni Chameli.”

Experts believe that firangi skin suits well on the spicy Indian item numbers. And Claudia too agrees with it, “That’s very true Babuji jara dhire chalo is still a huge hit amongst the audience.”

So does that mean Claudia is open to doing such item numbers? “I sure am!” she winks. “I have always been passionate about dancing. Music and dancing are an inseparable part of my life. And I would love to do an item number, provided it’s in the films made by a good production houses with able choreographer!”

Choreographers who have worked with Claudia vouch for her. She would be better than any Indian item girl as her flexible body and sense of music and rhythm is important for such dancing, they agree.

‘Guess it’s high time that we get to see Claudia on the silver screen, doing an item number and shaking her hips to the desi beats.
