However, the love for music is one passion that unites all people regardless of their background. United Colors of Benetton’s Fall-Winter 2013 product campaign centers on the world of music to portray how it unifies diversity – of people, identities, cultures and of their many melodies – therein lies our future.

The new campaign features the ‘good vibrations’ of six young talents who represent the best of today’s up and coming fashion and music icons. Through their melodies they express their personality; they share their life experiences and communicate with the world. “This – says Benetton Group’s Chairman, Alessandro Benetton – is a campaign that unites different cultures and experiences in a melting pot of musical genres. Just like colour, music is a way to express yourself, to communicate your personal feelings, and above all, it is a universal language that everyone understands.”

The campaign is the work of Mikael Jansson, one of today’s top fashion photographers and the creative eye behind memorable advertising campaigns, front covers and spreads for W Magazine, Interview Magazine and various international editions of Vogue, as well as the images of an endless parade of celebrities. 20 year old British, Louis Simonon has music in his blood as being the son of punk rock band The Clash’s bassist, Paul Simonon. Louis’ modelling career started with a bang with a photo shoot that saw him land the cover of Dazed & Confused in 2009.

The makers of Welcome Back, producer Firoz A.Nadiadwala and director Anees Bazmee are extremely upset with recent reports in the media of Shraddha Kapoor claiming that she was approached for the film and rejected it ,especially since the real truth is that the actress was never approached for the role in the first place.

While the leading role in the original blockbuster Welcome was essayed by Bollywood’s numero uno -Katrina Kaif, the makers are keen on casting an A-lister opposite John Abraham since Welcome is a huge franchise. And Welcome Back will only be bigger and better.

Setting the record straight says Firoz Nadiadwala’s spokesperson, “Shraddha Kapoor has never been approached for the film and its shocking for her to even suggest it – The role requires someone who is extremely glamorous , has great screen presence and is a fine actress and frankly glamour isn’t

Priyanka Chopra’s ‘Exotic’ released by Universal Music India

The wait is finally over, as fans get to watch their favourite actor, Priyanka Chopra perform with International Sensation Pitbull. After getting a glimpse of the teasers, the release of her new album titled ‘Exotic’, was eagerly awaited by the audience across the nation. The album was launched at an event in Mumbai; where the music video was premiered.

The event kick-started with Devraj Sanyal, the MD of Universal Music India Asia, inviting Priyanka Chopra on the stage, where the duo spoke about their association. International Singer Pitbull wasn’t able to attend the event, though he sent a special recorded message. Following the CD launch, Priyanka taught everyone the ‘Exotic’ step.

Priyanka was very excited about the release. Accompanying her at the grand launch, were her nani, mother and brother. It was an even more special occasion for Priyanka, as it was also her brother’s birthday. Priyanka, along with Mr. Devraj Sanyal, answered the media and fan questions with much enthusiasm

Priyam and Govinda go ‘Auva Auva’

The upcoming gala episode of Sony Entertainment Television’s popular music reality show Indian Idol Junior is filled with spectacular performances by the Top 10 juniors. Govinda made a special appearance on the sets of Indian Idol Junior for an episode featuring the Top 10 singing juniors crooning songs from the ‘disco’ era. The highlight of the ‘disco’ themed gala episode is a special performance by Priyam with superstar Govinda strutting out some cool ‘disco’ moves alongside her. Priyam set the stage on fire with an electrifying performance that had everyone including Govinda praising her. The actor was so impressed with her singing that he himself made his way on stage and asked Priyam to sing once more so that he could dance on it. Govinda then brought the house down with some cool ‘disco’ moves on ‘Auva Auva’ sung by Priyam.
