St. Andrew’s Auditorium to court an epic battle between the sexes!

~ Vir Das to spark off a riot with Ashvin Gidwani Productions’ ‘Battle Of Da Sexes’ ~

Mumbai, September 25, 2014: India’s beloved stand-up comedian Vir Das is all set to bring his famous performance, ‘Battle of Da Sexes’, to Mumbai’s St. Andrew’s Auditorium on September 27, 2014. Renowned for his slapstick style and quick wit, Vir Das unleashes the age old debate about gender based supremacy in a house full of men and women seated in separate halves of the auditorium.

Written and performed by Vir himself, ‘Battle of Da Sexes’ sells tickets in pairs only – one for a male and one for a female. The twist comes in when he demands that men and the women they’ve come with should be seated separately. Vir then proceeds to ingeniously pit the two sides of the audience against each other – men versus women – and thus begins the ‘Battle Of Da Sexes’.

The atmosphere at every show of ‘Battle of Da Sexes’ is often charged with quick wit and good humour. Each and every show of this act till date has received a standing ovation from audiences all over the nation. Vir Das has been praised for his impeccable skill with words and a sense of humour that is bound to make the gruffest of people break into uncontrollable laughter. This is definitely a play to watch out for!

‘Battle of Da Sexes’ will be staged next at the St. Andrew’s Auditorium, Bandra on Saturday 27th September, 2014 at 8 PM. Tickets are available online at http://in.bookmyshow.com/events/battle-of-da-sexes/ET00016935
