Disney Princess Sonam Kapoor throws a Royal Dinner Party.


Sonam Kapoor who will next be seen in Disney and Anil Kapoor Film Company’s Khoobsurat received immense support while shooting in Bikaner from princess Siddhi Kumari who went all out to ensure that the cast and crew were well looked after during their stay in the city.


Hence, it came as no surprise that when Princess Siddhi was in Mumbai on a professional commitment, Sonam Kapoor threw her a lavish dinner party.


Says a source, “Siddhi Kumari and the royal family of Bikaner gave the Khoobsurat team permission to shoot inside the palatial palace and also ensured that the cast and crew were well looked after….As soon as Sonam heard that the princess was in the city on some work she immediately extended a dinner invitation to thank her for all her support”.


Says Sonam Kapoor, “It was a private dinner and I do not wish to reveal any more details about it. Yes, there are fond memories of Bikaner since we spent a lot of time shooting there.”


Produced by Walt Disney Pictures in association with Anil Kapoor Film Company, Khoobsurat is directed by Shashanka Ghosh and stars Sonam Kapoor & Fawad Khan in the lead. The movie is slated for a September 19th worldwide release.


Amitabh Bachchan all praise for Priyanka Chopra in and as Mary Kom.


Priyanka Chopra recently visited the sets of Kaun Banega Crorepati hosted by Amitabh Bachchan as a guest contestant on the reality quiz show and was in for a surprise as host Mr.Bachchan was all praise for her work.


Says a source, “ Priyanka was overwhelmed with Mr. Bachchan ‘s feedback –He mentioned watching the trailer of Mary Kom and being bowled over by it…He was also praise for all the effort Priyanka made to look every bit like a professional boxer .All this coming from Mr.Bachchan truly had Priyanka humbled“.


Confirming the news says Priyanka Chopra’s spokesperson, “Mr Bachchan appreciated the fact that Priyanka has pulled off the role of a boxer very well.”


Produced by Viacom18 Motion Pictures & Sanjay Leela Bhansali, Mary Kom will hit theaters on 5th September 2014. Known for his larger than life canvases, Sanjay Leela Bhansali will be dabbling with a biopic of this magnitude for the first time with a cracking directorial debut by Omung Kumar.


Actor Activist Gul Panag and Olympian swimmer and Arjuna Awardee Rehan Poncha were guest speakers today at the CII Young Indians Conclave in Mumbai.
Gul Panag spoke on the need for all Indians to make it a goal to directly make time to serve society in someway along with their pursuit of personal ambition to help India fly into a better tomorrow, while Rehan shared his own very inspiring story of overcoming adversity to pursue his dream and represent the country at the most prestigious of sporting arenas, as an example of the importance of daring to dream, and learning to excel.
