New Delhi, August 21, 2014: MakeMyTrip, India’s leading travel company has launched an all new television campaign focusing on its mobile platform offerings. With the mega new TVC, MakeMyTrip showcases the ease of booking travel through mobile. Setting the tone of the brand’s promise of flawless and delightful user-experience, MakeMyTrip’s mirthful new TVC captures the comfort of instant bookings and cancellations through MakeMyTrip’s mobile app.

 

The TVC personifies MakeMyTrip’s “Memories Unlimited!”spirit with a narrative that is amusing and straight. The TVC with the interesting tagline- “Plan jab, booking tab” gives a quirky take on how consumers can do immediate bookings as soon as they make a plan from anywhere and anytime with MakeMyrip’s mobile app.

Today, MakeMyTrip has apps for a range of smartphones – Android, Blackberry, iOS and Windows, besides a HTML-optimized touch site. MakeMyTrip’s travel-booking apps allow customers to search and book flights, hotels and bus on the move, with the same functionality as that available on the website (including hotel reviews, pictures, and TripAdvisor ratings). Furthermore, the app enables users to cancel their bookings, track the status of their refunds, send e-tickets and vouchers, booking history, check flight status and also look for alternate arrangements in case of last minute delays. It also provides geo-targeted search results, allowing users to easily find dining options that are near their current location, and provide attractive last minute deals for same day hotel bookings.

 

To date MakeMyTrip has seen more than 3.2 million downloads of its mobile apps, which have full booking capabilities for flights, hotels and bus ticketing across all major platforms. Today, mobile accounts for more than 29% of the company’s monthly unique visitors and 14% of online transactions.
