The plot revolves around various groups of youngsters, global citizens who have adopted Western attire and behavior. In each case, they are truly Indian at heart and aren’t afraid to show it.

Radio City’s Mammoth Christmas tree enters the ‘Limca Book of Records’

~ Listeners turn ‘Santa’ by loading 40 feet high Christmas tree with 15000 gifts for underprivileged children ~

Mumbai, 27th Dec, 2012: Radio City 91.1 FM, registers itself in the ‘Limca Book of Records’ with the Radio City Christmas tree at Ambience Mall, Gurgaon. The mammoth Christmas tree overwhelms the mall with its 40 feet high towering presence, decorated by gifts collected from thousands of listeners across Delhi over the last 10 days. The gifts collected from the activity will go to ‘Save the Child’ NGO cheering up Christmas for underprivileged children.

Radio City started collecting the gifts in a nationwide campaign from the 17th of December. Listeners could either hand over the gifts personally to our RJs or donate the gifts in drop-boxes across the city. The massive 40feet Christmas tree was built in-house decorated with gifts from our listeners. The Christmas tree with snowflakes and gifts is a sight to behold, reaching out to the top-most floor of the mall. It entered the ‘Limca Book of Records’ as the ‘Tallest Christmas Tree’ ever created. The spectacular display will be on till the 31st of December when the gifts will be distributed amongst ‘Save the Children’ kids.

Playing it STRONG.

After the failure of his last movie Jashnn at the box office, actor Adhyayan Suman, is now looking forward to the release of his next movie Dehradun diary, scheduled to release on January 4,2013. The movie has a strong plot, and is based on a real incident, and has him as the main lead, though according to him, the script of the film is the main hero!

Adhyayan, plays a common boy in the movie, who fights against a strong political family for having his brother killed. He feels that the movie would showcase coarse reality prevalent around us, and the hurdles faced by a common person, in an attempt to fight the Judicial Systems, and high handedness of the rich and mighty! The actor acknowledges that even though it’s a film which would be close to his heart, it has been emotionally draining out for him to work in it.

Apart from looking forward to the release of this film, where he would be seen in a stronger and much serious role, early next year, the actor is bound to work for his father, Shekhar Suman’s directorial debut tilted heartless, Sajid Khan’s remake of Himmatwala, and another untitled psychological thriller.

Indo-U.S. pair all set to make the fight for the doubles title tougher

Chennai, December 26, 2012: Current World No.12 and ace doubles player Rohan Bopanna will partner US-based Rajeev Ram at the Aircel Chennai Open 2013, India’s only and South Asia’s leading ATP World Tour tennis event. The tournament is scheduled to take place at Chennai’s SDAT Tennis Stadium from December 31, 2012 to January 6, 2013.

The formidable pair promises to add to the excitement in an event that has an impressive line-up of 4 singles players from the top 20. The organisers announced earlier that the country’s top doubles specialist Mahesh Bhupathi would be teaming up with World No.5 doubles player Canada’s Daniel Nestor.

After an impressive partnership that saw Bhupathi and Bopanna winning two titles at Dubai and Paris and a runner-up finish at the just-concluded season-ending London Masters, the duo recently announced their decision to play with different partners in 2013.

Boppana and Ram had earlier appeared as a team at the Australian Open in 2008, where they proceeded to the pre-quarters defeating higher ranked teams along the way. Given their complementary styles of playing and strengths in critical areas of the sport, they are sure to make a great doubles pair in the season beginner.

Bopanna is considered one of the best doubles players in the world and attained his career-best ranking of eight in March 2012. It featured more than 7000 participants in 13 different events which included Singing, Dancing, Literature, Invitational Cricket, Vintage Car Rally, Body Building, Badminton, Painting, Rangoli,
Marathon, Cookery Competition, Story Telling Activities, Quiz Competition along with Flash Mob.

The Theme “Masti-Mohabbat Mail” started with a VINTAGE CAR RALLY flagged-off by Bollywood Star Ajay Devgn. This train traveled into the hearts of every resident of Mulund and took them to an unforgettable journey of fun, love and togetherness. Body Building competition was a mega hit. Bollywood star Mukesh Rishi was the Chief Guest for the same. The Mulund Marathon, flagged off by Shri Charan Singh Sapra, had more than 2500 participiants.

The Mulund Book of Records had 9 Winners like Navin Anchan- the Handicap Swimmer, Shobha Tipnis – Guinness Book of World Record holder for Blowing Rubber Hot Water Bag & Rohit Shetty – The Limca Book Holder for conceptualizing 400 Poems in a year, among others.
