Producer Anil Mishra altered his film title Zanjeer II to Good Morning Zindagi and also announces a new venture called Chadha Di Gaddi.

Zanjeer II which was announced last year by Executive Producer Anil Mishra. Inspite of film being shot at Mumbai location, the producer Anil Mishra on the advice of Mr. Manish Shah, financial advisor and Mukesh Tyagi who is not only a well known actor but also an advisor to min of telecom.

This so happened with the advise of Mr. Manish , Anil Ji decided to take this initiative in order to maintain the respect of Late Prakash Mehra’s Zanjeer, 1973 starring Mr. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan.

Madhushree records for the Innocent Heroes…

Bollywood playback singing sensation Madhushree Bhattacharya records song “Yeh Nadiyan, Yeh Taare, Tere Liye Hain…” for the album titled Innocent Heroes dedicated to underprivileged kids. ‘King Haile’ to be event ambassador for 10th Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon

Mumbai, January 10, 2013: The 10th edition of the Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon, to be run on January 20, 2013 will be graced by ‘King” Haile Gebrselassie. Promoters Procam International today announced Ethiopian Haile Gebrselassie, the world’s greatest long distance athlete and global sporting icon as the International Event Ambassador of USD 350,000 prize money Standard Chartered Mumbai Marathon.

Mumbai, January 10, 2013: He may have had his first brush with Bollywood with Singh is Kinng, but popular American rapper, Snoop Dogg a.k.a. Snoop Lion, arrived today in Mumbai to get his firsthand experience of the country. All geared up to take Delhi and Pune by storm with his first-ever concert tour in India, Snoop will perform at Amanora Park, Pune on 11th January, 2013 and at Leisure Valley, Huda Grounds, Gurgaon on 13th January 2013, courtesy Indigo Live & Micromax.

With Micromax presenting the first ever Snoop Dogg India Tour, organizers, Indigo Live, will introduce the artist through Live Arena – a platform that aims to showcase the best of international artists in India with a world-class concert going experience.

Snoop fans will get an opportunity to watch the rapper perform all his new and classic smash hits culminating into a terrific LIVE music experience. With a song line-up like What’s My Name, Drop it like it’s Hot, Gin & Juice, Young, Wild & Free, Wet and Boom, Snoop is sure to deliver a super party to his Indian fans.

With a promise of a day-long party experience, the event starts at 12noon and will play host to DJs, B-Boying championships, F&B lounges, interactive photo booths etc. In Pune, Live Arena will treat fans to exciting music through the day with performances by DJ Asad Freeatmah Zaidi, DJ SA and an opening performance by Bombay Bassment, while Delhi-ites will be pumping to performances by Reggae Rajahs, Delhi Sultanate, Begum X, DJ Whosane! and DJ Lil B.

Poonam is the new One-Take Pandey in town

It is a known fact that actors making their debut are usually a nervous and stiff lot. Re-takes over the smallest of scenes are a common occurrence. But when it comes to actor Poonam Pandey, the
bindaas girl has been wowing her production team with her dedication and acting prowess.

Poonam managed to complete the first shoot schedule bang on time, and with no retakes for any of her scenes. So much so was her concentration and grip on the script that she managed to live the
character on the sets.

Poonam is called the girl with an attitude that rocks, and she has earned a new moniker on the sets. “One-Take Pandey” is what the production team has been referring to Poonam on the sets. After every
take, the director yells ‘cut’ and the production unit bursts into applause. A source from the unit added that it had become a norm on the sets now, as Poonam has set the standards so high on the sets that the unit members are extra cautious that they do not goof up on the technical aspects of the shoot.

Each shot and almost every scene was canned in the first take. The production team and the staff on the sets could not help but applause her performances. The director of the film, Amit, was pleased as a
punch with Poonam on the sets. “Poonam is a director’s actor, and she is a fantastic and committed actor on the sets,” he said.

Let’s wait and watch what One-Take Pandey has in offer for her fans. Take That!

Thrilling display of talent marks pre-quarters of Mahindra Youth Football Challenge 2013 in Mumbai

Christ Church School, Lilavati Podar, St. Lawrence, ANZA, and Don Bosco enter Quarterfinals

Mumbai, January 10, 2013: The city’s MSSA Ground became the centre of all attention in the challenging pre-quarterfinal round of the Mahindra Youth Football Challenge 2013, which is now in its third successful season in the country. Representing Mumbai’s top schools, the young footballers displayed some neat moves and beautiful passes to help their teams enter the quarterfinals of the challenging football event.

Christ Church School’s Ancel Andrew scored the lone goal in the first match of the day against St. Lawrence High School (Borivali). The match was an enjoyable low scoring game and the winners did not give many chances to St. Lawrence to equalise. A similar second match saw the Santacruz based Lilavati Podar defeating St. Theresa (Bandra) to enter the quarterfinals. Ahmed Lakhani scored a goal in the first half and the outcome marked a well-deserved victory for the Podar team.

Captain Suthar Lalit and Harsh Rall helped St. Lawrence HS (Kandivali) beat Colaba Municipal (Colaba) by scoring one goal each in the first half of the action filled encounter. The winners displayed some top-class defending skills and Colaba Municipal was unable to open its account in the game. In the fourth match, Kamran Ansari displayed some skilful moves to score two goals and help his school ANZA (Byculla) triumph 2 – 0 over Aditya Birla (Tardeo). The young footballer scored a quick goal after the match begun and another after halftime to ensure his team gets a spot in the upcoming quarterfinals.

The fifth match between Don Bosco (Mantuga) and Fatima HS (Vidyavihar) witnessed a thrilling display of talent as the boys from the Matunga based school went on a rampage scoring 7 exciting goals. While Keanu D’Souza and Marc D’Souza scored 3 goals each, Bryce Miranda contributed one goal to give the school a rousing 7 – 0 victory. Encouraged by the win, the boys are confident of playing very well in the matches to come.

Believing in the power of music to move hearts and minds alike, Plan India & Euphoria have dedicated their recently released song ‘Main Hoon…’ on female empowerment to be the theme song for this initiative of creating a change in society!

‘Kudiyan Di Lohri’ is being hosted across 9 northern markets – Delhi, Punjab, Haryana, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and is aimed at changing social mindsets in order to get to the heart of this problem and tackle it at a grass root level.

92.7 BIG FM has already hosted auditions across schools, RWA’s, housing and residential societies to pick lucky girls between the ages of 5-10 who will go on to be the crusaders (the face and voice) of 92.7 BIG FM, along with popular RJ’s on the station, in spreading the message of the ‘Kudiyan di Lohri’ campaign. The girls have been featured across popular shows on the radio channel and have interacted with listeners and celebrities who have daughters, discussing with them the unique concept of ‘Kudiyan Di Lohri’ and spark awareness and initiate a change.

The campaign will also see on-ground activations where little girls will visit the homes/families of listeners who have recently given birth to a girl child, with a Shagun Ki Thali welcoming them into this world and sharing the joy of being a girl. In addition to this, select families who have been blessed with a baby girl in the year gone by will be invited to celebrate their little girl’s first Lohri in the BIG ‘Kudiyan Di Lohri’ Party.
