Preeti Sood playing Gutki in Kangana Ranaut starrer ‘Revolver Rani’ couldn’t have asked for a better debut. Besides Preeti, who also happens to belong to Kangana’s hometown, shared an amazing camaraderie with her co-star Kangana Ranaut.

The two of the fair & pretty ladies coming from the Himachal Pradesh got along like house on fire on the sets of Revolver Rani, Preeti exclaims, “My first shot was with Kangana & I was pretty nervous initially but she made me so comfortable & at ease. Moreover she showed so much interest after learning that we belong to the same place in Himachal. She is extremely friendly & an amazing guide, a mentor for new comers like me.”

Preeti who essays role of Gutki, Kangana’s domestic help in the movie recalls of shooting on the sets, “I had done thorough research on the role I had to portray & all my acting lessons & extensive theatre & with Kangana’s help; I didn’t have to struggle with my lines or acting. Only Gutki’s role required me to apply make-up to look darker & also to gain some weight which I managed to put on. We had this amazing chemistry off-screen & my friends saw that on-screen too.”

With Revolver Rani getting critically acclaimed, Preeti feels to have conquered a milestone in her career, “I have absorbed every bit of training I underwent during the filming of Revolver Rani which is really going to help me in my future projects. My family & friends & acquaintances from the industry took notice of me in the movie & appreciated my performance.”

Mumbai 28th April 2014:TABcab, Mumbai’s largest phone fleet cab service with 2800 cabs, has always believed in being active in the social welfare commitments and today announced a Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign “Drink and Drive Contest” at Girgaum Chowpaty, Mumbai.

TABcab in collaboration with city police flagged-off the Corporate Social Responsibility Campaign. Leading the way, Hon. Shri. Dr. B. K. Upadhyay, The Joint Commissioner Traffic (Mumbai Police) showed the green light to the cause, which showcased the consequences of driving while drunk, with a tongue-in-cheek humour and in-your-face bold message.

TABcab spread the message all around Mumbai with a road show, showcasing the message, they started from Girgaum Chowpatty and took the route to Peddar Road, Haji Ali, Worli Seaface, Shivaji Park, Mahim, Bandra, Juhu, Lokhandwala and ended at Malad.

Speaking about this initiative, Mr. Shyam Singh, CMO, TABcab said, “As part of our Corporate Social Responsibility, we are proud and always committed to the cause of spreading awareness and educating the people on the importance of responsible driving and have always endeavored to propagate this ideology. I thank TABcab for helping us by starting this campaign and we hope this campaign will go a long way in reducing the fatal accidents caused due to drunken-driving”.
