An item song for Atlantic Adventure Ltd’s maiden venture “RAAMBHAJJAN ZINDABAD” was shot on a huge lavish & realistic set of Sugar Mill in Raj Pipla, Gujarat on Om Puri, Abhay Joshi, Ishtiyaq Ahmed and Shweta Bhardwaj participated along with near about 2000 crowd, 200 dancers and more than 150 trucks loaded with sugarcanes and hundreds of bullock carts spread in area of one kilometer were used. Song was completed in 4 days.

Film is being made under the banner of Atlantic Adventure Ltd, it is produced by Khalid Kidwai, co-producer Madhav Chitale, asso-producer Chetan Parikh, with Direction by Ranjeet Guptaa, written & lyrics by Vishal Vijay Kumar, music by Sidhant Madhav, cinematography by Chandan Kowli, editor Dilip Deo & film stars Om Puri, Kulbhushan Kharbanda, introducing Shweta Bhardwaj & Abhay Joshi (from NSD), Seema Azmi {‘Chak De’ India fame}, with Jagdeep, Zakir Hussain, & Ram Sethi in pivotal roles.

Makers of 3G sought permission to shoot from Fiji village elders

Not your run-of-the-mill route to seeking permission to shoot at the picturesque Fiji Islands, the makers of Eros International & NextGen Films’ horror 3G ,had to cajole the local village elders for over 7 hours and even shared the signature Fijian drink “Kava” with them before they received blessings from the village chief to shoot.

Confirming the news says producer Viki Rajani, “Yes, we had to chat with the local elders for several hours after which a drink was offered to us. Only after that we got permission to shoot. Apart from the backdrop that the island lent us,we also got the opportunity to experience the local culture”.

Adds director Shantanu, “While shooting in Fiji we ensured that all due permissions were taken well in advance. We personally spoke to the heads and explained the details of the shoot, we wanted to take the correct route of going about the permissions and chatted with them till they were convinced”

Produced by Next Gen Films and Presented by Eros International , the psychological thriller starring Neil Nitin Mukesh and Sonal Chauhan is scheduled to release 15thMarch 2013.

John Abraham comes to the rescue while shooting for I Me aur Main

While shooting for Reliance Entertainment,Pollen Entertainment and Rose Movies ‘ I,Me aur Main , lead John Abraham came to the rescue of the crew, when they met with a location crisis.

On short notice,the crew of the coming-of-age film were informed that the set which had to resemble an office space wasn’t available to shoot at and the team was hard pressed for time to scout for another setting – It was then that John stepped in and suggested shooting at his office in Bandra.

Reveals a source, “As soon as he was told about the location crisis,John gracefully offered his office for the shoot since he didn’t want to waste a date or inconvenience the rest of the starcast and crew.He ensured that the shoot took off smoothly and the entire portion was shot in his office space.”
