World Children Winners Games – A Tata Memorial Hospital initiative

Every year more than 2000 children from all parts of the country and some from

neighboring countries come to Tata Memorial Hospital with hopes of cure and care.

For the first time ever Tata Memorial Hospital is sending 11 children Cancer patients for

the “World Children’s Winners Games” at Moscow. This is taking place from the 19th

of

June 2014. Our “Team India” is now selected and started rehearsals for all the sports.

Indian ace sportsman, Yuvraj Singh met and interacted with the children and taught

them the art of fitness, team spirit and zest to play. He flew into Mumbai to visit the

children and motivate them before they leave.

A special meeting with him was organized by Tata Memorial Hospital at C’est La Vie,

at Bandra. He spoke to the children of the nuances of going for International events,

representing India with pride, and special tips for practice, food habits and team

spirit!

There was not a better example than Yuvraj to show victory over Cancer!
