Is Poonam Pandey’s nude pic an extension of compulsive lying?

A new controversy has emerged about Poonam Pandey having gone nude. And surprisingly, not for her stripping! It is being alleged that her supposedly ‘nude’ picture, which she tweeted in support of Shah Rukh Khan’s cricket team Kolkata Knight Riders winning the Indian Premier League (IPL), is actually a FAKE. Oops!

With a little research it can be found out that this photograph, done in the backdrop of an antique-looking window and house plants, was actually shot wearing a bikini with high-heeled black shoes and a blackish-brown bead-necklace and wristband. But in its new avatar, Poonam is seen in the buff, giving rise to speculations about the new picture having been ‘photoshopped’ to generate fake hype.

“Photographs speak for themselves. The old and new pictures are definitely from the same shoot and done at the same place,” analyses Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar.

“But let us also give the benefit of doubt to Ms Pandey, before pouncing on her. For all you know, she might just have decided to do away with her costume for a shot after doing the bikini pictures,” comments the crisis management expert.

And though the publicist speaks somewhat in her favour, Poonam has already been termed a compulsive liar by many. Indeed, this Kingfisher Calendar model has made a lot of tall claims in the past. Poonam became an instant hit when she grabbed the attention of the whole country, by claiming to go nude to celebrate Team India’s World Cup win.

But to the dismay of her fans mainly on Twitter, she didn’t! Instead, she put out a whole lot of bikini pictures, on the lines of prototype Sherlyn Chopra. Apparently, Poonam also spread news about her entering Bigg Boss 5, claiming to have been offered a staggering 2 crores for it. That too, turned out to be false.

Then she claimed she had “rejected 30 film offers”. Later, Poonam declared, she signed a film by Amit Saxena, who directed the Bipasha Basu-John Abraham thriller Jism. Saxena denied her claims in the media stating, “I really want her (Poonam) to stop spreading false stories about me. Nothing has been finalized yet and I hope she stops doing this.”

Rozlyn Khan does a full monty in IPL support!

In a swift move that could put Poonam Pandey’s seemingly photoshopped ‘nude’ picture to shame, actress Rozlyn Khan has gone in for a full monty this week.

While Poonam never kept her promise about stripping when Team India won a year ago, she did a turnaround and put out an ‘apparently nude’ picture of hers on her Twitter this week, which on the face of it seems touched up and tampered with.

But this is not about Poonam – it is about the real daredevil Rozlyn Khan. In a live telecast a week ago, the girl had promised that she will go on a date with Mahendra Singh Dhoni and even do a bikini photoshoot with the cricketer, if his team won the Indian Premier League (IPL). But since it lost, Rozlyn went in for a full monty with the IPL logo on her butt to show her support; however naughty it is!

While the sensuous beauty has posed completely naked and flashed her butt and side boob in one picture, all she’s seen holding, is a bat and ball in another. But Rozlyn says, “This is just an appetizer. Wait for the main course.” Ooo la la! If ‘this’ is the appetizer, wonder how scrumptious the main course can be! Lol.

Zohra Segal and Ramesh Sippy to be awarded for their outstanding contribution to Indian cinema

Cricket Frenzy reaches its peaks with Gully Premier League Grand Finale

MCAFEE RISK AND COMPLIANCE OUTLOOK REPORT finds

SIEM and DATABASE SECURITY ARE TOP PRIORITIES

Annual Report Reveals Organizations are Moving Away from ‘One Size Fits All’ Approach and are Looking for Best-of-Breed Core Solutions for Risk and Compliance

India– May 29, 2012–McAfee today announced findings from its annual study that highlights how IT decision-makers view and address the challenges of risk and compliance management in a highly regulated and increasingly complex global business environment. The report Risk and Compliance Outlook: 2012, found that Database Security and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) were among the top priorities due to increased advanced persistent threats.

Database security has been an ongoing concern for organizations due to highly publicized data breaches and the growing regulatory compliance demands. The largest portion of an enterprise’s most sensitive and valuable information resides in databases. When asked about sensitive database breaches, over one quarter had either had a breach or did not have the visibility to detect a breach. In addition, respondents listed databases as the top challenge in meeting regulatory mandates.

The other top concern was SIEM, finding that most organizations rely on legacy systems that do not meet their current needs. Ever changing threats, data breaches, and IT complexity add to the burden of being able to monitor security events, detect attacks, and assess real and potential risk. Approximately 40% of organizations are planning to implement or update a SIEM solution. While 80% of respondents cited visibility as very important, security teams remained challenged in this area. Discovering threats was listed as the top challenge to managing enterprise risk.

Key Findings:

• Similar to the 2011 survey, there is a positive trend in security budgets for 2012 with 96% of the organizations indicating same or more expenditure on risk and compliance.

• Organization state ‘Compliance’ as the driver for almost 30% of IT projects.

• Software and Appliance are the top choices for Risk and Compliance products.On average, one-third of all organizations prioritized the upgrade/implementation of unique risk and compliance products to address vulnerability assessment, patch management, remediation, governance, risk management, and compliance.

• Survey data showed rapid uptake towards Hosted SaaS and Virtualization. Nearly 40% organizations claim to be moving towards these deployment models in 2012.

• Patch Management frequency is a challenge – almost half of the organizations patch on a monthly basis with one-third doing it on a weekly basis. Just like last year’s analysis, not all companies are able to pinpoint threats or vulnerabilities, as a result, 43% indicate that they over-protect and patch everything they can.

“Managing risk through security and compliance continues to be a leading concern for organizations the world over,” said Jill Kyte, vice president of security management at McAfee. “Meeting the requirements of increasingly demanding regulations while reducing exposure to the new classes of sophisticated threats and having an accurate understanding of risk and compliance at any point in time – can be challenging. To address this issue, organizations are looking to “best-of-breed” solutions to manage all aspects of their risk and compliance needs and reduce the amount of time spent managing multiple solutions.”

AMBEDKAR BRINGS BIGGER REVOLUTION THAN MAHATMA:

Jaiswal Further Added- it all began a couple of years back when I was watching a film on Babasaheb on this very day, Ambedkar Jayanti, that an old man came forward & shared with me the extreme levels of atrocities a particular section of the society has been exposed to for centuries. Old man further shared how people of a particular section of the society were made to live like animals, with a look that is frightening even to imagine. They were made to wear a broom like a long tail, so that their footprints would be swept away while they walked, hang a pot around the neck so that they don’t make the earth unholy by even accidently spitting on the ground, wear bells so that no one crosses their path & so on. When imagined, the whole visual was hair raising & never heard, seen or imagined before in the history.

When asked why such a film in this era of commercialization, Jaiswal says – Cinema must not be like a drug that gives you a momentary kick & then fades away. If used well, it could be a powerful tool for bringing a revolution. I hv an inspiration from some of the greatest works of the likes of Achhut Kanya, Bandini, Neecha Nagar, Saransh, Ardhsatya, Bandit Queen etc & my film covers all aspects of a society divided by colour, caste & creed, rampant with corruption & atrocity.
