Since I love my work, I will be shooting. I wish I could celebrate it with my family but I can’t. I miss them and soon will plan a trip to my home town and make up for it.

Last year I celebrated valentines day with my Dad- he was my valentine. This year my work would be my valentine and hopefully next year I will have a valentine. Boasting of an Indian and a Pakistani composer, the success of the music of Murder 3 is particularly signficant since all its tracks have been lapped up by the music lovers. Composed by Pritam, the melodious`Teri Jukhi Nazar’ entered the charts within a week of its release, while `Mat Aazma Re’ and ‘Jaata Hai’ steadily climbed their way to the top rankings. Another song that gained popularity was Hum Jee Lenge” by Pakistani singer Mustafa, proving yet again that great music transcends national boundaries.

‘Sherlyn Chopra celebrates her Birthday and Womanhood’

Mumbai, 11th February 2013: While celebrities like throwing a bash or taking a vacation on their birthdays, Sherlyn decided to be different as she celebrated her birthday in ‘special’ company. The model turned actress was at ‘Kamathipura’, Mumbai’s oldest and Asia’s 2nd largest red light district. Sherlyn feels that sex workers are considered an ‘outcast’ by the society which is prejudicial. Hence she wanted to make them feel special and decided to spend her birthday moments with them.

Sherlyn opted for a cake with a special message that read ‘celebrating womanhood’ as it is the essence of her birthday. Sherlyn decided to visit the sex workers as they hold a special place in her heart as she in her own words was ‘one of them’. It was during her stay in Los Angeles in July last year that there was a phenomenal shift in her level of consciousness.

While Bollywood has been to Kamathipura several times for movie shoots, no one has been thoughtful to spend personal time with sex workers. Meena (name changed) was very excited about the fact that Sherlyn chose to celebrate the occasion with the ladies of Kamathipura. Proper care was taken to respect the privacy of the sex workers, hence media was not invited for coverage and Sherlyn was just assisted by Kreative Access Media team.
