Radio City Freedom Awards encourages fresh talent

~Proves to be an ideal platform for independent artists~

Mumbai, June 10, 2013: The first of its kind Radio City Freedom Awards has been a platform to recognize and reward independent music across genres and languages. The recently concluded grand finale introduced the country to the untapped talent & young musicians creating independent music.

Following the award for Best Hip Hop Album in Radio City Freedom Awards, Machas with Attitude were spotted recording their next song with the famous composer Vishal Dadlani. Listening Party a specially-created one-hour show on Radio City Freedom, will provide a chance for these young artists to present their latest albums to listeners.

The grand finale of Radio City Freedom Awards witnessed the best of independent artists being felicitated by the highly acclaimed people from the industry. Vishal Dadlani presented the award for the Best Hip Hop / Rap Artist (Jury’s Choice) to the winning band Machas with Attitude. The Bangalore-based band got a huge break when they recorded a song with Vishal Dadlani, along with Enkore, the winner for the Best Hip Hop / Rap Artist (People’s Choice).

Elated by this opportunity, Machas with Attitude say, “We’ve been huge fans of Vishal since his Pentagram days & were really glad to receive an award from him. He then invited us over to his studio to record a song for one of their upcoming movies. It was an awesome experience to record with such open minded people who also incorporated a few of our suggestions. We would really like to thank Radio City for facilitating this opportunity.”

Adding further Enkore said “The idea behind the awards firstly is pretty fantastic to me, and the execution was even more impressive. RCA Records announces the September 24 release of the new Kings of Leon record, Mechanical Bull. Angelo Petraglia produced the album, which was recorded at the band’s studio in Nashville, TN.

Kings of Leon are fresh off three acclaimed headlining performances at American festivals, Bottle Rock in Napa, CA, Hangout in Gulf Shores, AL, and, most recently, this past weekend’s Governor’s Ball in New York City, during which the festival cancelled the band’s Friday night performance due to Tropical Storm Andrea. The band, upset over the cancellation, worked through the night with festival organizers and management to figure out a way to come back on Saturday. The festival found a place for them on the main stage right before the Saturday headliner, during which the fans were treated to the live premiere of Mechanical Bull’s first single, “Supersoaker.”

The Kings left for England early Sunday morning. They start their European tour at London’s O2 on Wednesday, June 12.

These series depicts the nuances of the Artist’s emotions and imagination. Each painting is subconsciously a motivated image provoking a beginning of a feeling, an emotion, and a thought at that time, it’s spontaneous and unplanned. She is seduced by a white canvas that allows her to transform it with the Aura of Color and a variety of elements and scribbles of paint and Lines-each line made of many moments which together encompass Myriad of feelings and Emotions depicting relationships. Music release of Ek Bura Aadmi in Delhi and Lucknow

Arunoday Singh’s latest flick ‘Ek Bura Aadmi’ is all set to release on 26th of July. The music of the film will be release on 14th June in Delhi and in Lucknow on 15th June. Philind Motion Pictures Pvt. Ltd. presented, the producers of the film are Zenaida Mastura and Surendra Rajiv. The film is directed by Ishraq Shah.

Bhushan Kumar announces Bhoothnath sequel
While 2008’s Bhoothnath starring Amitabh Bachchan ,Shah Rukh Khan, and Juhu Chawla released over 5 years ago, producer Bhushan Kumar fresh off the success of the 100 crore garnering Aashiqui 2, now announces the sequel of the film tentatively titled “Bhoothnath 2”. Bhushan Kumar is all set up help Abhay Chopra, Ravi Chopra’s son, resurrect the banner by producing Bhoothnath 2.
A sequel to Bhoothnath is being put together and this time, Nitesh Tiwari, the Chief Creative Officer in the ad agency Leo Burnett who co-directed Salman Khan’s Chillar Party, will be wielding the megaphone.
Bhoothnath was a story of a child who befriends a ghost then starred Amitabh Bachchan in the title role. Even this time around Amitabh Bachchan reprise his role and the cast also includes Boman Irani. Bhushan Kumar confirms, “We are very excited to announce the sequel of Bhoothnath. Amitabh and Boman will be part of the film and it will appeal to all age-groups.” Abhay adds, “My father and I always wanted to do a sequel and Nitesh came with an interesting idea. Bhushan and I fell in love with it and narrated it to Amit uncle and once we agreed we were on.”
The film will go on floors by November and release by summer next year.
