The ESSENTIAL LOOKS FLUX Collection 1:2012 for Spring/Summer 2012

ESSENTIAL LOOKS from Schwarzkopf Professional launched its much awaited FLUX Collection 1:2012 yesterday, 10th May 2012 in Mumbai at Renaissance Powai amongst much glitz and glamour.

The latest catwalk hair trends were distilled into four new visual moods for Spring/Summer 2011. Each season a handpicked team of hair professionals immerse themselves in the fashion weeks of London, Paris, Milan and New York and emerge inspired to create a collection of distinct trends that will lead hairdressers and their salon clients to progress their personal style for the months ahead. These ESSENTIAL LOOKS capture the essence of the season – defining the fashion zeitgeist, creating a cultural snapshot and presenting a storybook of style.

This season, for the first time, ESSENTIAL LOOKS features the Catwalk To Salon concept. Since its creation in 1997 ESSENTIAL LOOKS has a proven track record in translating catwalk couture into a commercial reality, but in this economic climate means Schwarzkopf Professional recognizes accessibility is more important than ever. The concept is about taking avant-garde looks as inspiration and then creating interpretations that are both aspirational and adaptable, with versatile cuts and colouring techniques that promise to work for all salons and their clients.

Renowned International Stylist Karen Olliver and Najeeb Ur Rehman National Technical Head Schwarzkopf Professional helped recreate these looks for the Indian audience and will now coach over 300+ salons in Mumbai Delhi And Bengaluru between May 8th and May 18th 2012.

Mr Najeeb UR Rehman: National Technical Expert Schwarzkopf Professional commented: “The Essential Looks FLUX Collection 1 is a winner. The ‘Catwalk to Salon’ concept will be highly sought after by leading hair salons across the country as it caters to the need of today’s customer who is so well connected to global style. Most of the looks are strong and edgy while remaining relevant to our region’s requirement. The concept dwells primarily on bringing high street catwalk fashion that-much closer to the audience and creating clean, powerful and minimalist looks that are simmered with vitality”

Mr Murali Sundar: General Manager, UK – Professional, India & SriLanka, Henkel Adhesive Technologies India Pvt Ltd says “We are introducing in India, The ESSENTIAL LOOKS FLUX Collection 1 which brings to our users the “Catwalk to Salon” concept. Steve Hogan, Creative Director for Schwarzkopf Professional ESSENTIAL LOOKS says:

“We are proud to present the ESSENTIAL LOOKS FLUX Collection. Called FLUX not only because of the ever changing global economic situation, but because we believe to succeed in hairdressing you need to be able to adapt and evolve to stay ahead of the game. We have strived to create four truly eclectic trend directions that reflect the diverse tribes emerging from today’s modern, global society. SPORTS JUNKIES are honed, toned adrenalin junkies always seeking the next endorphin rush.

The DARK ANGELS are sensual, mysterious and confident women who are the embodiment of feminine beauty. COOL HUNTERS are the epitome of 21st century entrepreneurs, travelling the world with a high tech virtual office in search of the next new big thing and the HIP OPULANTS are hedonistic pleasure seekers who want to see and be seen at the coolest bars and hippest hangouts. These tribes and our strongest images to date are certain to ignite your imagination and fuel your creativity for the season ahead.”

ESSENTIAL LOOKS FLUX Collection 1:2011/2012 is presented in four moods:

COOL HUNTERS – The ultimate 21st century tribe, these entrepreneurial revolutionaries have torn up the rulebook and shunned the conventional 9-5. Their nomadic spirit means they hunt out authenticity crave personalisation and are lured by diverse cultural looks. They love Burberry’s S/S handcrafted looks and Marni’s breathtaking beading. Harnessing this brave new energy, stylists translated the trend into cuts that were rich in cultural references and boundary pushing attitude. From sleek precision bobs to attitudinal feather cuts and bold statement colour, it all displays the Cool Hunters fierce passion for fashion.

SPORTS JUNKIES – Sportswear was the biggest trend to emerge from New York this season with mesh paneling, hoodies, nylon straps and baseball caps seen everywhere from Victoria Beckham to Alexander Wang. Clean lines, neon colours and hi-tech fabrics ruled and represented a new emerging breed of hip adrenalin junkies who crave the ultimate endorphin rush. EL Stylists seized this feeling and created clean, powerful and minimalist looks that simmered with vitality. Clever styles with ability to shape shift were key, as was a deceptively simple polish.

DARK ANGELS – Sultry, sensual, hypnotic, exotic, this trend appeals to women whose innate confidence and powerful good looks combine to give them a magnetic appeal. Ultra feminine and powerfully seductive they wear Dolce & Gabbana’s sultry corsetry or Louis Vuitton’s expensive, exquisite lace dresses. Never too obvious, they exude subtle sex appeal that translates to luxe, perfectly glossy hair with peek-a-boo fringes and rich ultra natural colour.

HIP OPULANTS – This pleasure-seeking crowd abide by the maxim you get enough sleep when you are dead. They live life hard and fast and want to see and be seen. Their wardrobe reflects their love of glamour with high-octane show-stopping looks that mix wild prints with eye-popping colour and a dash of sparkle. But just as modern shapes stop these pieces looking too trashy or flashy, the sharp, clean, cuts stop screen siren blonde and decadent golden reds looking too obvious. Glamour and versatility is key, but it’s the all-important edge that is truly essential.

Schwarzkopf Professional is focused on bringing fresh seasonal ideas and energy to commercial salon work and giving salons all the tools they need to translate that into wantable, wearable styles for their clients. The creative minds behind ESSENTIAL LOOKS and the FLUX Collection 1: 2012 give salon hairdressers a window on the world of catwalk fashion and an ‘access all areas’ pass to what’s truly hot in hair.

Rakhi Sawant praises Nupur Mehta over pasta and garlic bread!

Cricket controversy sensation Nupur Mehta was chatting up with Bollywood PR guru Dale Bhagwagar at the Andheri hotspot Indigo in Mumbai recently, when another of the publicist’s clients Rakhi Sawant happened to walk in.

As he introduced the controversy queens to each other, he realized that they jelled fabulously well in just a few minutes of knowing each other.

“So much so that Rakhi not only excitedly shared her pasta and garlic bread with Nupur, but even gave the gorgeous cricket circuit girl loads of tips about life in Bollywood,” the publicist revealed. Rakhi told Nupur that she found her “a very intelligent and intellectual girl” and that she had “a bright future.”

The newbie too was touched by Rakhi’s gesture. “You are such a down-to-earth person. Am glad we met,” Nupur told Rakhi, and it all seemed as if they’d just started a sort of mutual admiration society! Gee!

PLEDGE TO BE A RESPONSIBLE CYBER MOTHER THIS MOTHER’S DAY

– McAfee Cybermum India ,Anindita Mishra-

In this day and age, it is important for parents to handhold and protect their children from not just physical dangers but virtual ones. That’s because the internet has evolved to a platform for self expression and social interaction, with children indiscriminately indulging in information exchange leading to an increasing rate of cyber exploits. A study commissioned by McAfee on the online behavior of Indian children showed the following startling facts:

· 62% of the polled kids shared personal information online.

· 58% of the polled kids share their home addresses on the internet.

· 39% of the polled kids do not tell their parents about their online activities

· 12% of the polled kids had been victims of some kind of cyber attack

The results of this study affirm that the online behavior of children needs to be viewed seriously by Indian mothers. On the occasion of Mothers’ day, mothers should don the role of responsible cyber parent and ensure their kids are protected from cyber attacks and malpractices using the following methods-

· Work as a team to set boundaries. Discuss with your child exactly what is OK and what is not OK regarding what kind of web sites are appropriate for them, which chat rooms to visit, and what kinds of things they can talk about there. Only let your kids use monitored chat rooms. Avoid “.alt” chat rooms—they focus on alternative topics that may be inappropriate for kids. Get to know your child’s online friends as you do their school and neighbourhood friends. Learn to surf the web and chat online yourself so you understand what it is that your child is doing.

· Teaching Facebook etiquette to children: It’s important to teach kids to not believe everything on Facebook, is extremely important. They should not give much credence to those weak characters who try to avenge their hurt by insulting people or starting rumours. Deal with such people firmly by asking your kids to keep records of their statements and then deleting them from their friend lists

· Keeping communication channels open: Talking and discussions will take you a long way with your child especially if we discuss cyber threats that are more prevalent today. Referring to ones own experiences always can help you be their confidantes.

· Setting the ground rules for computer usage: Ensuring that the family computer is in a very public location and that the screen faces the room and not the back wall. Setting time during schooldays and weekends when the child can use the PC. Laying down the usual penalty systems like ‘no computer for a week’ if a rule is breached. Accompanying your child to the stores to pick up the games of his/her choice.

· Learn how to save chat session logs, how to block users, and how to report problems. You can save sessions by copying and pasting the message text into a word processing program. Most chat programs allow you to block a user by right-clicking on their name in your contact list and choosing the “Block” or “Ignore” feature. If your child has a problem with any chatter, send the copied log to the chat room moderator or administrator. You can find the contact information in the help or reporting section of the program.

· Make sure your child understands that they are never to reveal personally-identifiable information such as their real name, gender, age, school, phone number, or where they live. Have them use a chat pseudonym that is non-provocative and doesn’t hint at who they really are. They must also guard other people’s personal information, such as friends’ names and phone numbers.

· Encourage physical activity more than online activities: Ensure your child goes out and plays if he/she seems to be getting too addicted to the PC

· Don’t let your kids open attachments to email messages from friends or file-sharing services without you being there to approve and scan the content for viruses.

· Install up-to-date security software on your PC. For the most complete way to keep your children safe online, use parental control products such as McAfee Family Protection. It keeps children of all ages safe from exposure to inappropriate content, social networking risks, strangers, and other online threats.

“I have done an item number in Department” so says Actor Abhimanyu Singh.

The onscreen look on his face is usually the disheveled hair, blood thirsty eyes and a devilish smirk on the face. Well-known for his negative role in films like Gulal, Rakht Charitra, this guy is very opposite to what he portrays-cool, humble, sweet and approachable Abhimanyu Singh is what he really is!

Abhimanyu Singh hasn’t been much on small screen but he returns to the world of small screen with his ongoing serial Upanishad Ganga, produced by Chinmaya Mission and Directed by Dr Chandraprakash Dwivedi, the serial is currently running on DD.

Abhimanyu talks to us about such new ventures.

Firstly, tell us something about this new serial “Upanishad Ganga”, what is it all about?

The serial is based on the teachings of Upanishads. This serial will bring the audience closer to the Indian Philosophy and explain them the Vedas and Upanishads in the form of stories. The serial is a treasure trove of rare stories. The stories are old yet presented in a new format.

So what will be your character in this serial?

Well, I am playing 33 different characters in this serial. So you will see me in the avatar of Lord Krishna, Lord Indra, Emperor Ashoka and many more.

33 characters in one serial is quiet a score, so which one of these is your favourite character?

All the characters that I played were quite exciting but for some reason I liked playing Lord Indra. May be, because I could relate to him. His is more human than a god can be, with his own share of virtues and vices.

Now that we are talking about the characters, what is your dream role?

Oh! I would love to play the character of Maharana Pratap and Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj someday.

Is it that you love to just work in strong, off beat films like Gulal and Rakht Charitra ?

It nothing like I work only in strong, off beat films. But I am willing to work in all kinds of films.

You come from Patna, so did you have to struggle a lot to get to this position?

Ups and downs are always there. But it was much of a trouble for me. I hail from Patna but I moved to Delhi for my graduation. When in college I often worked in college dramas. And later realizing it as a career goal, I moved to Mumbai. Here I took proper theatre training and while doing theatres my work got noticed. After which the offers started flowing in.

Talking about serial, did it take a lot of preparations for the kind of characters you portrayed?

Preparations weren’t much except what I usually do for every character that I play. Since I believe in method acting, I research before portraying any character. For me creative satisfaction is very important. I get into the skin of the character so as to make it more alive and realistic.

So is that why they call you “Critics’ Favourite Baby”?

(Laughs) They call me that? Well, maybe that’s because I put in all my sweat and blood into the work that I do. And not just me, but any actor who works this way towards the characters he plays, his performance will be remembered for ages even though the movie failed to hit the score in box office.

Coming back to Upanishad Ganga how was the experience of working in it?

It was the most enriching and difficult experience of my career. I have grown as an actor with this serial. For me this serial is more like a service to art. And working with Director like Dr Dwivedi was yet another pleasurable experience for me.

Finally I would like to ask you about your forth coming projects.

I am working with RGV in Department. In Department I play negative role that has positive shades. Also I have done an item number in this movie (smiles).Apart from Department I am working in Telugu remake of “Dabbang” and in a movie called Alaap directed by a debutant director Manish Manikpuri.

Citrix Announces New Innovations in Desktop Virtualization Lowering Cost and Accelerating the Transformation to Virtual Desktops

New XenDesktop, VDI-in-a-Box & AppDNA capabilities drive adoption

India – May 10, 2012: Today, at Citrix Synergy™, the conference where mobile workstyles and cloud services meet, Citrix announced a set of new innovations that help organizations transform their Windows desktops and apps into a cloud-like service that can be managed centrally and delivered to any device in any location. New releases of Citrix desktop virtualization products and new game-changing Citrix HDX Ready SoC-based endpoint devices from key partners are helping to ease the transition to virtual desktops, drive down the acquisition costs and provide expanded capabilities targeting broad use cases from the call center, to high-end engineering and mobile workers in enterprises, the public sector and SMBs, enabling organizations of all sizes to deliver anywhere, anytime access to desktops, applications and data to users.

With the tremendous explosion of new devices, operating systems and applications, organizations are struggling to keep up with the challenge of managing desktops and applications in this new highly mobile world. At the same time, trends such as consumerization and bring your own device (BYOD) programs are putting added strain on IT resources. Citrix is raising the bar once again delivering new innovations across its desktop virtualization products and working with partners to drive down the costs of virtual desktops.

Easier On-ramp to Desktop Virtualization

· New Remote PC Option in XenDesktop FlexCast – The new RemotePC option is part of the FlexCast® delivery technology in the Citrix XenDesktop® product line. Using the new RemotePC capability, XenDesktop customers will be able to quickly turn existing office PCs into distributed VDI hubs without setting up additional servers and storage in the datacenter. This innovative new solution makes it easy for IT to give end users fast, secure remote access to all the apps and data on their office PC from any device. Once IT is ready to move to a more full-service VDI implementation, these distributed RemotePC images can be easily moved into the datacenter to run in a traditional hosted VDI model for better consolidation, security and management efficiency. Remote PC functionality will be included in XenDesktop 5.6 Feature Pack 1, which will ship in June, 2012.

· New AppDNA Software Release – To ease the transition to Windows 7 and a virtual desktop infrastructure, the new release of Citrix AppDNA software brings a simplified overall installation, setup and user environment to accommodate a broader range of enterprises, the channel and global SIs. Citrix AppDNA also provides even more in-depth application details so enterprises can accurately assess, rationalize and act on applications before a project begins. The AppDNA 6.1 software will be available in Q2, 2012. (see announcement blog for more detail)

Reducing the Acquisition Costs of Virtual Desktops

· First Wave of Game-changing Endpoints Arrives – The first results of the Citrix HDX System-on-Chip initiative that was announced at Citrix Synergy Barcelona are being delivered to the market. The initiative was designed to enable an entirely new generation of devices that deliver high-definition virtual desktops and apps at game-changing price points and form factors. These devices reduce the cost of high-performance HDX Ready thin clients by more than half, further driving down the cost of desktop virtualization. New devices from ATrust, Centerm, HP, NComputing and ThinLinx are being announced today at Citrix Synergy San Francisco and are built for Citrix XenDesktop, and Citrix VDI-in-a-Box. (See announcement blog for more detail)

· Personalized VDI for Less than the Cost of PCs – The Project Aruba technology preview delivers a cost-efficient yet complete VDI solution by extending the simple affordable Citrix VDI-in-a-Box™ with layering technology using personal vDisks to deliver highly personalized virtual desktops that retain the cost-efficiencies of pooled desktops. Project Aruba also provides a validated blueprint for service providers looking to deliver cost-effective VDI-based Desktops-as-a-Service.

Citrix has also made available a license migration path from VDI-in-a-Box to XenDesktop for customers that want to extend beyond VDI to leverage the full flexibility of XenDesktop while preserving their investment. The end-user experience is consistent across both products as both VDI-in-a-Box and XenDesktop use the same HDX stack and Citrix Receiver. (See announcement blog for more detail)

Delivering Expanded Functionality for Broad Use Cases

Citrix is delivering new innovations that create a very seamless experience for end-users, delivering a more complete solution than other alternatives on the market.

· Empowering Point-to-Point Unified Communications for Cisco and Microsoft – With the introduction of HDX Real Time technologies for voice and video collaboration, industry-leading unified communications (UC) solutions including Cisco VXI Unified Communications and Microsoft Lync 2010 can process voice and video locally and create a peer-to-peer connection for the ultimate user experience while taking the load off datacenter processing and bandwidth resources. XenDesktop delivers new levels of efficiency and quality of service for the most demanding use cases. HDX Real Time will be available with XenDesktop 5.6 Feature Pack 1 in June, 2012. – Support for HDX Real-Time with select Cisco VXI clients was recently announced in April, 2012 representing the first optimized UC solution for desktop virtualization on the market. This solution represents one of the first deliverables from the recent collaboration agreement between Cisco and Citrix to optimize HDX for Cisco networks.- The new Optimization Pack for Microsoft Lync 2010 will be included in XenDesktop 5.6 Feature Pack 1. This pack supports Microsoft Lync 2010 for point to point voice and video communications to Windows and Linux devices and will extend across all Citrix Receiver™-enabled devices over the coming months.- Beyond traditional unified communications support, XenDesktop also optimizes voice and video collaboration for cloud-based solutions including Citrix GoToMeeting® by compressing voice and video traffic on the client before transmission over the network.

· Cutting Network Bandwidth for Demanding 3D Engineering Environments – Whether collaborating with design engineers across oceans using advanced CAD/CAM or GIS apps or consulting medical imaging at a patient’s bedside with an iPad, the secure, high performance delivery of GPU accelerated 3D applications and desktops with XenDesktop has never been more powerful or efficient. Using new deep compression codec technology that reduces bandwidth requirements by 50 percent, XenDesktop with HDX 3D Pro technologies secures sensitive intellectual property and privacy-sensitive data while improving collaboration and performance eliminating the need to synchronize and transfer massive data files. Meanwhile, users leverage state-of-the-art graphics processing hardware in the datacenter to access designs and images from any device, anywhere. HDX 3D Pro will be available with XenDesktop 5.6 Feature Pack 1 in June, 2012. (See the announcement blog for more detail)

· New XenClient Enterprise and Acquisition of Virtual Computer – Citrix announced the acquisition of Virtual Computer, provider of enterprise-scale management solutions for client-side virtualization. Citrix will combine the newly-acquired Virtual Computer technology with its market-leading XenClient® hypervisor to create the new Citrix XenClient Enterprise edition. The new XenClient Enterprise, available in Q2, 2012, will combine all the power of the XenClient hypervisor with a rich set of management functionality designed to help enterprise customers manage large fleets of corporate laptops across a distributed enterprise. The combined solution will give corporate laptop users the power of virtual desktops “to go”, while making it far more secure and cost-effective for IT to manage thousands of corporate laptops across today’s increasingly mobile enterprise.

· Simplifying Printing with New HDX Universal Print Server – Now, Citrix desktop virtualization products tame the complexity of printing by completing a universal printing architecture with the Citrix HDX Universal Print Server. Combined with the previously available Universal Print Driver, administrators may now install a single driver in the virtual desktop image or application server to permit local or network printing from any device, including thin clients and tablets, leveraging HDX optimization technology to reduce bandwidth load over wide area networks and manage printing communications outside of the virtual desktop channel for enhanced quality of service. HDX Universal Print server will be available with XenDesktop 5.6 Feature Pack 1 in June, 2012.

Quote

“Citrix is helping to drive down the costs of virtual desktops, and advancing technology around user experience and manageability to move desktop virtualization adoption forward at a rapid pace. Though product innovation and strong partner ecosystems we are addressing barriers on all fronts including acquisition costs, migration complexity and delivering complete solutions for all customer segments from large enterprises to SMBs.”

Citrix Unveils Mobile Enterprise Strategy at Citrix Synergy San Francisco

Citrix unveils the next phase of its strategy to enable the mobile enterprise

India, May 10, 2012: Today at Citrix Synergy™, the conference where mobile workstyles and cloud services meet, Citrix unveiled the next phase of its strategy to enable the mobile enterprise. With the advent of the Cloud Era, an increasingly mobile workforce is looking for easier ways to work the way they want – with anyone, from any location, on any device. Citrix is enabling these mobile workstyles with an expanding portfolio of personal cloud solutions that give employees the freedom and flexibility they want, combined with the security and control businesses need.

Today’s announcements make it easier for companies of all sizes to go mobile – empowering employees to interact securely with any combination of people, data, apps and devices – then bringing it all together in a seamless, integrated experience for end users.

People
The Citrix mobile enterprise strategy begins with a focus on empowering people to work from anywhere, with anyone, on any device. To enable today’s increasingly mobile workforce, Citrix today announced GoToMeeting® HDFaces for the iPad, combining video conferencing, audio conferencing and screen sharing into a single, seamlessly integrated experience for mobile workers. This breakthrough all-in-one solution makes it easy to collaborate face-to-face while on the go, all from the convenience of a lightweight mobile tablet.

Today’s mobile workstyles also require a new approach to team collaboration. To address this growing demand, Citrix today unveiled the first solution from its recent acquisition of Podio. The new Citrix Podio offering delivers a powerful cloud-based team collaboration platform for companies of all sizes. Unlike complex PC Era solutions, Podio brings the power of mobile and social to team collaboration, making it easy for people to work the way they want in dynamic team workspaces, across any mix of employees, contractors and partners.

Finally, Citrix made it easier for IT to support workers when they themselves are on the go. The new GoToAssist® for mobile devices lets IT professionals provide live support from anywhere, connecting to employee computers and solving problems directly from their iPad, Android tablets or Android phone.

Data
The second pillar of the Citrix mobile enterprise strategy is a focus on data. The centerpiece of this strategy is Citrix ShareFile™, a powerful cloud-based file sharing service that makes it easy for people to share files with others, and to ensure that their information follows them across devices, regardless of where it was initially created and saved.

To expand this cloud file sharing capability to a broader set of enterprise customers, Citrix today unveiled the new ShareFile StorageZones technology, giving enterprise customers the ability to choose optimal locations for storing corporate data – either off-premise in the public cloud, or on-premise, within their own private datacenters. The new ShareFile StorageZones technology makes it easier for enterprise customers to meet security, compliance and performance requirements, without giving up the simplicity and elasticity of cloud-based data services.

Citrix also announced it is plugging ShareFile into its popular Citrix Receiver™ software client, used by millions of people around the world every day to access business applications on any PC, Mac, tablet or smart phone. As a result of this integration, end users will be able to open, view, edit, save and share documents on their personal and mobile devices, regardless of where those documents were initially created. This breakthrough new integration delivers on the promise of bringing follow-me-data to people as they move across different devices.

Apps
The third component of the Citrix mobile enterprise strategy centers on applications. With most business applications today designed for Windows, desktop virtualization has gained significant momentum as the primary way of delivering Windows apps and desktops as a service from the datacenter. To make it easier for customers to get started with virtual desktops, Citrix today announced a new RemotePC option as part of the popular FlexCast® delivery technology in its market-leading Citrix XenDesktop® product line.

As the app landscape shifts, an increasing percentage of business applications are being delivered as web, SaaS, cloud and mobile apps. As this transition occurs, businesses need a simple way to secure and control this diverse mix of apps, while giving users easy, self-service access to all their work apps and data from a secure company app store. To deliver on this promise, Citrix today announced Citrix CloudGateway 2, a powerful new update to its unified storefront solution that adds extensive mobile application management capabilities, including full support for native HTML5, iOS and Android apps. The new CloudGateway release also adds integration with ShareFile, giving customers a single unified control point for all apps and data enterprise-wide.

Devices
The fourth pillar of the Citrix mobile enterprise strategy focuses on devices. The centerpiece of this strategy is Citrix Receiver, the company’s universal software client, available on more than two billion PCs, Macs, thin clients, tablets and smartphones worldwide. Citrix Receiver makes it easy for customers to support bring your own (BYO), flex-working and work-from-home initiatives to enable mobile workstyles, regardless of the devices chosen by end users.

Citrix XenClient® extends the Citrix device support strategy to corporate laptop users with a secure, client-side hypervisor that runs directly on the laptop, even when disconnected from the network. Citrix strengthened its leading position in this market today with the acquisition of Virtual Computer, a provider of enterprise-scale management solutions for Xen-based client hypervisors. Citrix will combine the newly-acquired Virtual Computer technology with XenClient to create the new Citrix XenClient Enterprise edition. The combined solution will give corporate laptop users the power of virtual desktops to go, while making it far more secure and cost-effective for IT to manage large fleets of corporate laptops across a distributed mobile enterprise.

The final component of the Citrix device strategy centers on its innovative new Citrix HDX System-on-Chip (SoC) initiative, launched last October at Citrix Synergy Barcelona. This groundbreaking program was designed to enable an entirely new generation of devices, capable of running high-definition virtual desktops and apps at game-changing price points and form factors.

Citrix was joined by multiple partners today to unveil the first wave of devices featuring the new HDX SoC technology. New thin clients from ATrust, Centerm, NComputing and ThinLinx reduce the cost of high-performance HDX Ready thin clients by more than half, dramatically improving the return on investment for desktop virtualization just six months after the HDX SoC program was first announced. Citrix partner HP also unveiled an innovative new All-in-One zero client that uses Power-over-Ethernet and consumes a mere 13 watts of power, less than half that of comparable devices on the market today. Citrix expects additional innovations in price and design based on the new HDX SoC program to be announced by these and other partners in the coming months.

Bringing it All Together in a Seamless Experience for End Users

While enabling the mobile enterprise is a central focus for business and IT decisions makers worldwide, it is also increasingly important for end users. From the user perspective, however, enabling a mobile workstyle is far more personal. Users today have little patience for outdated applications, systems and devices that are complex to learn and operate, and will increasingly go around IT if simple solutions are not offered. Supporting these users means going beyond individual tools to provide a seamless experience where everything they need just works – intuitively, naturally and easily.

To deliver on this vision, Citrix announced a series of integrations between its user-facing apps like GoToMeeting, GoToAssist, Podio (see demo), ShareFile (see demo) and Citrix Receiver (see demo) – along with additional support for third-party apps and services like Evernote, GetSatisfaction, Microsoft Skydrive and Google Apps. By delivering innovative integrations between these apps and services, Citrix customers can ensure that their broader mobility and personal cloud strategies also resonate with end users who think less about the “Mobile Enterprise,” and more about “ME@work”.

Parineeti Chopra who was know as Dimple swept some 12 awards last year as a debutant.

Her performance was loved by all in Ladies Vs Ricky Bahl.

Parineeti never got a chance to promote the film or even see herself on hoardings during the promotion of her last film. Apparently she was abroad and missed all of it.

This time for her film Ishaqzaade Parineeti made sure she is not going anywhere and dedicated all her time for promoting the film.

Infact she was so very excited to see herself on hoardings all over the city

She was overwhelmed with people reacting to her interviews and fans clicking pictures with her wherever she went

She totally loved all the promotions and the attention she got during her city tours while she was promoting the film.

As she missed all of that during her last film Parineeti gave it all this time for her film Ishaqzaade

The promo and music of Ishaqzaade have created quiet a buzz infact it is one of the most awaited debutant films of 2012
