As a part of this tie-up, the movie has been featured on WeChat’s ‘BlockbusterMovie’ Official Account, through which users will be able to access exclusive behind-the-scene action from the movie, by following this Official Account.

‘Ek Villain’ also gave an opportunity to WeChat users, to meet heart throbs Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor – the young stars of the movie in a special meet and greet activity. Through this WeChat users got an opportunity to interact and get clicked with their favourite stars.  To ensure that other WeChat users also get an opportunity to speak to Sidharth Malhotra and Shraddha Kapoor, a  group chat is being organized on 27 June, the day of release.

Balaji Motion Pictures and WeChat have also launched a co-branded TVC starring the leading stars of the movie. The 30 second TVC, showcases the young stars using WeChat’s ‘Video  Call’ feature to talk to each other and share their special moments, which is in line with a sequence in the film.
