Digital filming, Photography & Lensing seminar in Mumbai on 30th March

DSLR and Digital cameras are now being used for film making, leading to emergence of a whole new generation of film makers & photographers. To give a better understanding of the emerging scenario, a workshop focussed on Film & Photography Students, professionals, amateurs and Wild life photographers is being organised by Accord Equips, a leading shooting equipment rental & production house over the last 2 decades.

The areas covered in the seminar will be The Right Lens for the Right Shot – for films & photography and Lens Maintenance – Storage, cleaning etc. The organisers later plan a theatrical release of Q & A session with the makers of a film shot on DSLR, which is also a part of the program at Mithibai College Seminar Hall, Vile Parle(w). Till now Dr. Rajesh did films in his regional language and an exceptional work in the film “Zilla Ghaziabad” which was released a few days back. “It was an amazing experience working with Sanjay Dutt.” is what Dr. Rajesh is saying.

Prior to this film, he worked in films like Aakrosh, Bittoo Boss, Atithi Tum Kab Jaoge etc. Other than that he has worked in Punjabi films like Taur Mitran Di and Bahurani, Pyare Bhartar, Bahu Badi Ya Saas, Gaav Ki Goriya etc.

He has always worked as the ‘bad guy.’ When asked why did he work as a villain in all of his Hindi, Punjabi or any other language films? He said, “I do not find any difference in acting, no matter what kind of role it is, negative or positive, it is purely acting and anyways, Villains have always impressed me more. I always want to be a villain in films and the audience should recognized me as the Bad Guy.”

Wednesday, 13th March: Move aside remixes, Mere Dad Ki Maruti is taking its new version of the title track to a whole new stomping level. Music Producer Nucleya energized the track with an indie twist that gave it a kick-ass new sound & video!

Stomp is a funky new genre of music created using everyday instruments and body parts for percussion. In this case, Nucleya innovatively uses parts of a Maruti – from doors, bonnets, ignition sounds, hubcaps, power-windows and more to create a groove. PAANI is based in a future world where wars over water have broken out. Water is now owned by International Corporations who use thirst as a weapon of control. In one such future city, a young love story breaks all the rules and in the ensuing war, water flows back to its people. The film will have a strong Indian and Western star cast, headed by a young leading actor from India and a young leading actress from the west.

The film, Produced by Aditya Chopra and Directed by Shekhar Kapur, will be shot in India and overseas. Music is by the highly acclaimed Academy & Grammy award winning A. R. Rahman.

Panjim, March 13, 2013: Goa Football Development Council (GFDC) today announced that the first football-specific conference in India will be held on March 15th and 16th, 2013 at the Marriot Hotel in Goa. Y-Films upcoming movie Mere Dad Ki Maruti, has struck the right chord with the newly released song ‘Senti’already becoming a hit. Directed by AshimaChibber, the movie stars Ram Kapoor, SaqibSaleem and PrabalPanjabiin, the movie also features newcomer Rhea Chakraborty.

While shooting for the song ‘Senti’, Saqib was supposed to do a lot of popping and locking steps.But Choreographer Rajeev Surti was skeptical if Saqib can do the those difficult popping and locking steps,so just to ensure everything goes right for the song,Ace choreographer called Saqib for rehearsals and the duo rehearsed for long hours till he got it perfect. After putting in so much hard work, Saqib surprised everyone with his Dancing skills.. The entire crew and director were left speechless after seeing his dance skills. He got an standing ovation.

Director praised Rajeev Surti for his belief on Saqib and also praised Saqib for his fantabulous Dancing performance in the song. Kirat: “Archana and I go back a long way we have known each other for years. In fact we are always planning a little backpack trip here and there. When Fox Traveller called her, luckily I was the first person she called and for me it just sounded like a Life Mein Ek Baar moment, the entire thing.”

Diandra: “There was so much that I had to accomplish and do and get away from my hectic schedules back in Bombay. The fact that I have been doing what I have been doing which is namely Modeling for so long, I just needed to get away, take a break, live and feel alive again. Episode 1: Yana arrives first and surprises the girls with a pool side band to celebrate their first evening in South Africa. Their second surprise in on day 2 where Barbara faces her biggest fear- Shark diving!

Episode 2: Barbara and Yana go on an emotional tour of Robben Island where Nelson Mendella spent 27 years as a prisoner. Archana and Kirat decide to go sky diving while Diandra goes solo to a tattoo convention and meets different artist from all over the world. She gets her tattoo design idea- Life Mein Ek Baar in Spanish as a dedication to Barbara.

Episode 3: Diandra and the girls plan a surprise birthday party for Barbara. She arrives in spot and is completely surprised. The girls celebrate her birthday, drink, dance, sing and have conversation over a bonfire. Yana gets the girls to practice their vocal cords and teaches them a song.
Episode 4: Archana, Kirat and Diandra learn to ride the waves as Gary their instructor teaches them how to surf. While Barbara and Yana inspired by a Youtube video about free hugs paint the town red by hugging passersby!

Episode 5: Barbara dares first to take a ride on a Gyrocopter. She fly’s through Table Mountain, Robin Island and few beaches. Yana visits a Cheetah orphanage as homage to her cat and gets to name a rescued Cheetah! The girls also bring in Kirat’s birthday in style as they party away is a happening night club.
