Colgate partners with Indian actress Lara Dutta to help encourage children to practice healthy habits

                                                                                                     

NEW DELHI, INDIA (September 11, 2014) –  Colgate-Palmolive, the world leader in Oral Care, kicked off the FDI Annual World Dental Congress in India by unveiling its  Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® Marquee exhibit.   To mark the event, Colgate was joined by Indian Bollywood actress and former Miss Universe Lara Dutta, to help promote the importance of healthy habits among children in attendance.

 

“I understand the significance of encouraging healthy habits among children,” said Lara Dutta, who inaugurated the Marquee“As a mom, I am proud to join Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® in support of their ongoing mission to creating healthy smiles. The dental experts here at our Marquee will certainly make an impact in the lives of the children who are here with us today.”

 

Approximately 1,000 children from local elementary schools will attend the Congress to receive free oral health education, dental screenings by volunteer dental professionals and Colgate® product at the Colgate Bright Smiles, Bright Futures® (BSBF) Marquee.  The Marquee will promote the benefits of proper dental hygiene by taking the children through different stations including a brushing station, an educational video theater and more.
