Mumbai.Chitah Yajness Shetty, the Bollywood martial arts trainer and chairman of chairman of Chitah Jeet Kune Do Global Sports Fedration ,on Tuesday 27th November 2012.celebrated the 72nd birth anniversary of Bruce Lee at Game Hall of Andheri Sports Complex ,Andheri(w),Mumbai with glamour and sweat.The glamour that assembled during the day included Kashmira Shah, Shama Sikandar, Krishna Abhishek,Claudia Ciesla (Big Boss,Khiladi 786fame),Ashay Sethi,{Saural Genda phool fame},Hanif Hilal(zor ka zatka,jalak dhiklaja fame),Shama Sikander (ye meri life hai fame) ,Ayush Tandon( life of pi fame),Gilbert D’soza . As a dedicated student of Yajness, Claudia Ciesla arrived and left early for her other promotions.

This is the fifth consecutive year of Bruce Lee’s birthday celebrations by Yajness Shetty. While the assembled stars thanked their master and trainer, Chitah Yajness Shetty said “it was an honour celebrating Bruce lee’s birthday year after year. Bruce less has given so much to the martial arts forms and was the greatest martial artist ever. I have celebrated his Birthday every year for past five years and intend to celebrate it in coming years too.”

On the occasion he organised 2nd Chitah Jeet Kune Do National Championship this year too. Martial artists from 20 states sweated it out in the event and the winners were awarded certificates. The event also saw the release of a 2013 calendar featuring Bruce Lee’s 72 philosophies like focus, meditation etc; and has some rare Bruce Lee photos. A big statue of Bruce Lee was also inaugurated. Episodic Synopsis – Day 52

Can you ignore the Obvious?!

Even before sunrise, Imam Siddique started his absurd behavior in the Bigg Boss padosi house. Imam is seen wearing a white gown and dancing in the bedroom where Aashka, Santosh, Nirahua and Vrajesh are sleeping. He wakes everyone and apologizes for his erratic behavior during the previous night. The main house wakes up to the classic track – ‘ter ko mirchi lagi toh main kya karoon’. Mink and Karishma are seen making fun of Niketan on how skinny he is. Meanwhile, Delnaaz, Sapna and Vishal are seen wishing Aashka through the camera in the garden area.

On the other side, Imam is back to the grind hardly an hour after his apology. Vrajesh, Santosh, Aashka and Nirahua are seen preparing tea in the kitchen area. Imam passes some comments but the others ignore him thoroughly. Imam gets irritated and goes and grabs a new packet of milk from the store room and walks to the open area. Imam goes on a different tangent and starts telling the rest of the housemates not to use abusive language with him as he cannot stand it. The housemates pay absolutely no attention to his random statements. Then he goes about saying that he will make sure that nobody in the house can relax even for a minute.

After a lot of Imam’s madness, Nirahua starts losing his cool. Bigg Boss calls Nirahua inside the confession room and tells him to maintain his calm. After Nirahua, Imam is called to the confession room and asked to behave himself. Coming back to the main house, a task letter is sent inside and Urvashi reads it out to all. The task is called – ‘mud mud ken na dekh’ (ignore the obvious). The task is to ignore whatever a particular person does inside the house. A lady dressed as a ‘bai’ enters the main Bigg Boss house from the store room and bumps straight into Rajev who can’t help but to react. The ‘bai’ comes in and starts playing pranks on Sapna and Delnaaz. She even spills coffee on the floor to instigate the housemates. After a brief span of irritating the housemates she leaves the house. After sometime, there’s a grand entry of the renowned comedian, Bharti Singh from the main entrance.

Bubbly Bharti enters with much enthusiasm and starts mocking everyone in her usual comical manner. Bharti targets almost every housemate turn by turn and mocks them. Bharti even drops apples, eggs and some other fruits on the kitchen floor. She lifts Sapna on her arms while she is cleaning the kitchen area. Bharti makes fun of Karishma, Urvashi and Niketan when they are lying down on their beds. Bharti even dances with Rajev on ‘zara zara touch me’. Vishal and Delnaaz find it the hardest to control their emotions with Bharti around. After a lot of pun, Bharti waves goodbye to all the housemates and leaves the house. Meanwhile, Imam is instructed by Bigg Boss to pack his bags and get ready to leave the Bigg Boss padosi house. The rest of the housemates look relieved post this announcement.

To pep up the mood in the padosi house, Bigg Boss calls Santosh to the confession room and tells him to collect ‘kheer’ from the store room and gift it to Aashka for her birthday. Santosh presents the ‘kheer’ to Aashka and everyone celebrates her birthday with much joy. Sana is called inside the confession room by Bigg Boss. While she is in the confession room Imam enters the confession room with a mask. After a small introduction with Sana, Imam enters the main house. The task is still on and Imam tries playing his pranks on almost everyone. After sometime, Bigg Boss announces that the task is over and asks the housemates to welcome their new housemate – Imam Siddique. As soon as soon Imam removed his mask, Delnaaz and Sapna jump on him with joy. Imam introduces himself to all and makes it very clear in the starting that he is here to play a game and nobody should judge his friendship for nominating others. Imam then bonds with Delnaaz, Sapna and Sana in the garden area as he teaches them a few dance steps. Imam gets his bed in the garden area and chats up with Sapna. Sapna explains how happy she is to meet Imam and says that her real devil will unleash now!

‘Bandstand music lovers’ can enjoy the gigs free-of-cost on November 28 & 30th at Horniman Circle Gardens & Carter Road (Bandra-W), respectively

Mumbai, November 28th 2012 : Ray Ban celebrates its 75th Anniversary with the grand finale of the Ray Ban ‘Never Hide Sounds’, a nationwide hunt for the best bands in the country. Five finalist winners of this hunt will perform on Saturday, December 1st, at Bandra Amphitheater, Mumbai on a platform that encourages upcoming music talent in the country and provides them an opportunity to be heard.

As a run up to the grand finale, Ray Ban has also taken up the initiative of reviving the ‘Bandstand music culture’ in Mumbai, and is organizing open music performances for Mumbaikars. Some of the bands that will perform are ‘Dischordian,’ at Horniman Circle Gardens on Wednesday, November 28th (between 4.30pm-6pm), followed by ‘BLEK’ and ‘The Lightyears Explode,’ playing at Carter Road (Bandra-W) on Friday, November 30th for over two hours (6pm-8.30pm). The same is open to ‘Bandstand music lovers’, free of cost.

Performing at the grand finale along with the five finalists will be two of India’s eminent bands Indus Creed and Parikrama, which is scheduled for Saturday. The five finalists selected from over 145 bands in the country are ‘The Modern Mafia’ (Mumbai), ‘Street Stories’ (Shillong), ‘83 miles per hour’ (Chennai), ‘The News’ (Bangalore) and ‘The Uncertainty Principle’ (Delhi).

On December 1 to December 2, 2012, close to 125 top drivers from the Asia-Pacific, Europe and India will come together to participate in the final rounds of the region’s most coveted racing championships. Bollywood Martial Art experts Yajness Shetty Celebrates Bruce Lee’s 72nd Birthday with Film & TV stars

This is the fifth consecutive year of Bruce Lee’s birthday celebrations by Yajness Shetty. While the assembled stars thanked their master and trainer, Chitah Yajness Shetty said “it was an honour celebrating Bruce lee’s birthday year after year. Bruce less has given so much to the martial arts forms and was the greatest martial artist ever. I have celebrated his Birthday every year for past five years and intend to celebrate it in coming years too.”

On the occasion he organised 2nd Chitah Jeet Kune Do National Championship this year too. Martial artists from 20 states sweated it out in the event and the winners were awarded certificates. Balma was an opportunity of Lifetime – Sreeram Chandra

Good looks, mellow voice and intelligence is a deadly combination rarely seen but we found all this in just one person-Indian Idol 5 winner Singer Sreeram Chandra. Hailing from South this star started performing at the age of 8 and ever since has done more than 80 stage shows. B.Tech graduate switched to music due to his love and passion for music. His song Rehnuma from his album “Rehnuma” was also included in “The Chronicles of Narnia: the Voyage of the Dawn Treader”. And with his latest hit number ‘Balma’ Sreeram is creating waves in the music industry. We caught up with the Balma singer on the success of his first item song. Following are the excerpts from the interview.

Balma has become popular in such a less time, it sure is commendable but how did Balma happen to you?

This was purely a coincidence. I met Himesh sir in one of the shows where he saw my performance and liked it. He told me that he will call me in 1 – 2 months time; he kept his words and offered me Balma.

After doing your first item song “Balma” how do you feel?

Oh! It feels great, my fans from all over are calling me to congratulate and it is really exciting to see that audiences have accepted this song so well. I am utterly thankful to Himesh sir for this.

Singing with Shreya Ghosal, lending your voice to Akshay Kumar and working with Himesh Reshammiya what is your reaction on this?

It’s an opportunity of lifetime! I would like to thank Himesh Reshammiya for giving me this song and it is always a pleasure to sing with one of the leading lady singers of the industry -Shreya Ghosal. And the song being made for The Khiladi Kumar is like an icing on cake.

We heard that you are also trying your hand in Acting?

Yes, I am. I always had a soft corner for acting and while performing in one of the shows few film makers liked my performance and approached me and after listening to the script I agreed. Now I am working on the second Telugu film whereas I’ve completed shooting for one Telugu movie which is now in its post production and will release soon.

So can we expect Sreeram to act in bollywood movies?

Definitely, why not! Before entering music industry in Bollywood I made my base strong in South and then got noticed in Bollywood through Indian Idol’s platform and I hope similar happens with acting. If I get an opportunity and a good role I would love to work in Bollywood too.

Which is the one actor in the industry you would like to lend your voice to?

I’ve already lent my voice to Imran Khan and Akshay Kumar, but I wish to lend it to all the stars in Bollywood particularly SRK and Bachchan ji.

How is life post Indian Idol 5?

Life has been great post Indian Idol 5. I have sung for an album “Rehnuma” in 2010 and also sung two songs Isq Risk remix and Madhubala in the movie “Mere Brother Ki Dulhan”. I’ve been offered roles and I’ve been reading scripts.

What message would you like to give to all the aspirants who want to enter the music industry?

Be passionate and believe in what you are doing. Do not be happy with the initial success, if you have to make a mark in this industry, come up with something creative, something big and do better than what you did previously. Do your work with complete dedication and passion. Idolize icons like Amitabh Bachchan and Shahrukh Khan because they’ve made their position in this industry, by working hard day in and day out.
