SRK wants to buy Comedy Nights with Kapil!

When superstar Shah Rukh Khan visited the sets of COLORS’ hugely popular Comedy Nights with Kapil for the second time in a span of three weeks – a first in the history of India television, Khan offered to buy Kapil’s show from the ace comedian himself!

Khan is said to be such a huge fan of the show that now he wants to make it his own, and was seen offering Sharma a sum of Rs, 10,000 in return! Shocked at his proposal, Sharma remarked jokingly, “Sirf Rs 10,000! Meri bua toh akeli Rs 8,000 ki hai and Dadi Rs 7,000! Mera naukar aur biwi aapko complimentary de doonga!” After much thinking, SRK was seen accepting Kapil’s scheme but said he wasn’t buying the show without Siddhuji! According to Khan and Sharma, without Siddhuji’s constant sher-o-shayari, the show would feel incomplete! The whole deal was finalized over a ping-pong table, where SRK and Kapil were seen to be involved in funny match of ping-pong.

The King Khan’s love for Kapil did not go unnoticed. When asked by an audience member who Khan’s favorite artist in the industry was, he took aback Kapil and the audience by remarking “Abhi toh mera favorite Kapil hi hai!” And just when Sharma was basking in this new-found revelation of Khan, Shah Rukh threw a googly at him – “Arey, main toh Kapil Dev ki baat kar raha tha yaar!”, he was heard saying much to the amusement of everyone on set!

Well, SRK visiting his show twice, and that too in a span of 21 days, we think Kapil has really become King Khan’s favorite!

The much talked about campaign last year “Sirf Gyaan Hi Aapko Aapka Haq Dilata Hai” (power of knowledge – a great leveler in our society) was highly appreciated. To take the thought ahead and shifting gears to the fact that learning in life should be an ongoing process. SET brings to light that all professions are an ocean of learning, provided they are taken as a stepping stone towards becoming a successful individual.

Their tales serve as allegories that highlight the importance of diligent learning in one’s life, with Mr. Amitabh Bachchan coming in to drive home the final message.

Directed by Amit Sharma from Chrome pictures, the four highly entertaining films are assured to keep viewers glued to their television sets.

Bappi Lahiri records song for film on Bar Dancers
“MUMBAI CAN DANCE SALA”.

Well known composer and singer Bappi Lahiri records first song after
long gap for film “Mumbai Can Dance Sala” in voice of Mamta Sharma.
Film is based on life of bar dancers. Song was recorded at Empire
Studio on 29th July 2013.

Writer Director Sachinder Sharma said “as everyone knows that dance
bar were closed approximately 7 years ago, thousands of bar dancers
were unemployed, now again dance bar are going to reopen, but where
were and what these bar dancers were doing these year is not known,
this film’s story is based on this particular thought and Bappi Da who
has given lots of hits during 1980 and 1990 is the best composer for
this subject”. Song was penned by Shabbir and film is being produced
by Ranjeet Sharma under banner of Ashima Films.

Bappi Lahiri is known as composer of dance numbers. Super hits songs
like ‘Kaliyon Ka Chaman’, ‘Gori Hain Kalayaien’ composed by Bappi da
said “After completing 40 years in music world of Bollywood, this is a
golden opportunity for me, after singing ‘U-Lala, U-Lala’, I am giving
reality touch in music of this film, line of first song sung by Mamta
Sharma ‘Make-up Hai, Shake Up Hai, Beauty Kamal Hai, Dekho Jawani Ka

Harley-Davidson is celebrating 110 years of fulfilling dreams of personal freedom. The brand has had a long association with popular music culture right from the ‘King of Rock ‘n’ Roll’ Elvis Presley riding the new 1956 Model KH to the legendary Bob Dylan’s Harley-Davidson Shovelhead. This July Harley-Davidson will also launch the ‘Find your Freedom’ contest wherein music artists and bands from across the country can submit their own original rock anthems on the theme of “Freedom” in form of video and audio files; the theme for the composition being freedom.
