Ranbir Kapoor’s Roy first look unveiled

Post the super hit success of Aashiqui 2, T-Series brings to floors ROY. After a love story it’s time to see action, romance and drama.

Venturing in genres like youth film, relationships, thriller, T-Series announced a romantic-action-drama with Ranbir Kapoor playing the title role of Roy. Ranbir will share screen space with Arjun Rampal and Jacqueline Fernandez. A slick and larger than life film, will see portray a character he hasn’t done before.

Roy is a directed by Vikramjit Singh produced by Divya Kumar, Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar under the banner of T-Series. Roy marks the directorial debut of Vikramjit Singh who has also written the script for the film. Roy will be released on 20th June 2014.

Mumbai: Padmashri Anup Jalota performs in a Bhajan Sandhya organized by the Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust at Aadhar old age home, Borivali (E), Mumbai on 31 July, 2013. Mr Jalota sung several evergreen classics like ‘Aisi Lagi Lagan’, ‘Chahe Krishna Kaho yaa Raam’ and ‘Rang De Chunariya’ along with newer compositions for the residents of the old age home who number over 125.

Aadhar houses senior citizens abandoned by their families, and includes couples. Mamtamai Shri Radhe Guru Maa Charitable Trust has been associated with Aadhar Old Age Home from last couple of years. The trust’s social work initiatives are inspired by Shri Radhe Guru Maa’s teachings that ask devotees to go beyond the temple and engage in good works for the benefit of all beings.

Maharana Pratap aired on Sony Entertainment Television is gearing up to witness the entry of a cruel assassin Basar Khan to be played by popular actor Siraj Mustafa. Sources inform that the upcoming episodes will mark the entry of Siraj Mustafa last seen in Hum Ne Li Hai Shapath as Basar Khan. The plot will get interesting with his entry as Shamsher Khan and Shams Khan will hire him to kill Pratap.When contacted, Siraj remained unavailable for comment.


Ayushmann Khurrana turns AD for Madras Cafe

Ayushmann Khurrana recently turned assistant director for Viacom 18 Motion Pictures,JA Entertainment and Rising Sun Films’ Madras Cafe.The actor traveled to Cochi for ten days to assist director Shoojit Sircar on a crucial dramatic scene between John Abraham and Siddharth Basu and a few others.

Though Ayushmann was keen on assisting the director through the entire schedule,his professional commitments didn’t permit him to.However as soon as his calendar opened up ,he caught the next flight to Cochi to assist Shoojit on the political thriller.

Says Shoojit Sircar, “Ayushmann had told me during Vicky Donor that if the film tanked and he didn’t get any work thereafter,he would assist me.But the film worked and he became a star.However,to get a better hang of direction,he did join us for a few days on the sets of Madras Cafe and proved to be a talented assistant”.

Says Ayushmann Khurana, “I wish I could be there for all 40 days of the Madras Cafe shoot. Shoojit has a fabulous set up .It was fascinating to see actors from a different point of view.I hope this experience results in making me a better actor.”

Shahrukh dance, acts and sings on Indian Idol Junior

King Khan was seen having a jolly good time on the sets of Indian Idol Junior. The episode dedicated to him saw SRK at his charming best. King Khan did not miss any opportunity to show his dancing moves as he made his way on to the stage after almost each performance. SRK and Deepika Padukone also crooned the Titli song from their upcoming movie. Shahrukh also enacted the famous ‘Ek chutki sindoor ki keemat’ scene from Devdas with Sonakshi as her Chandramukhi.

29th July, 2013: Korean Cultural Centre presents 2nd Pan India K-POP Contest on 17th August, 2013 at FICCI Auditorium in New Delhi from 06:00 pm to 08:30 pm. The festival invites all the K- POP lovers around India to join the global competition and celebration of Korean popular song and dance. K-POP is a part of celebrations of Indo-Korean 40th Diplomatic year. Finalists from the 13 countries will be invited to Korea to perform in the Grand Finale, which will be held in Gangwon, South Korea on 28 September, 2013.

K-POP Contest provides a platform for all to prove their mettle in Korean singing and dancing. K-POP is a musical genre originally from South Korea that is characterized by a wide variety of audiovisual elements, the term is more often used in a narrower sense to describe a modern form of South Korean pop music covering mostly dance-pop, pop ballad, electronic, rock, hip-hop, R&B, etc.

Arjun Rampal meets Dalai Lama

Arjun Rampal has always been wanting to meet Dalai Lama since a very long time.

Arjun Rampal was on a different kind of high when he got to meet Dalai Lama. He met Dalai Lama along with his family.

Arjun;s friend knew that he really wanted to meet Dalai Lama the religious guru. Arjun’s friends asked him and he immediately agreed.
“I immediately decided to travel with my family. It all happened very incidentally,” says the actor, whose meeting with the Dalai Lama lasted for about half an hour.

During their chat, the Dalai Lama asked Arjun to do something “very special”. Says Arjun with a smile: “He told me that all my movies should have a message, which I feel is true for my last couple of releases.”

, Arjun has wanted to meet the spiritual guru since the early ’90s. “But at that time, it didn’t happen. This time, our meeting was really unique and special. He has a great sense of humour and child-like innocence. When you are in his company, you can’t fail but experience incredible energy,” says Arjun.

He has a way of making you feel calm and composed.He will give you a great insight on life without making it sound like a lecture.I feel blessed and energized after the meeting says Arjun.
