PVR launches its first IMAX®Theatre in Maharashtra

Kotak sponsors the launch event of PVR IMAX®in Mumbai – the financial and entertainment capital of India

Mumbai, June 13, 2013: PVR Ltd., the largest premium film entertainment company in the country, today announced the launch of its first IMAX® theatre in Mumbai at the PVR Phoenix Mills. PVR join forces with IMAX Corporation, an innovator in entertainment technology, to bring the most immersive movie-going experience for its patrons. The launch of the PVR IMAX theatre was graced by the presence of renowned actor Aamir Khan, who is known for his patronage of new technology. 10th JK Tyre-FMSCI National Rotax Max Karting Championship 2013 kick-starts in Hyderabad

~Two new teams from Chennai & Bangalore join the battle~

~Round 1 of the Championship to be held at the Kart Centre, Hyderabad on June 15-16, 2013~

~Winners to represent India at 2013 Rotax Grand Finals in the United States~

Hyderabad, June 14 2013: The country’s most exciting and hard fought motorsport event for young racing enthusiasts is back. 2013 marks the 10th successful successive year of India’s only Karting championship-the JK Tyre-FMSCI National Rotax Max Karting Championship 2013. The opening round of the 2013 championship will get underway on Saturday, June 15, 2013 at the Kart Centre at Lahari Resorts, Hyderabad. The 650 meters long Kart Centre was inaugurated in 2012 and has provided great racing and high octane action in all Karting categories.

More than 45 drivers, including country’s top Karters and new entrants, will be seen battling across three categories that include Micro Max (7 to 12 years), Junior Max (13 to 16 years) and Senior Max (15 and above). The Championship, spread over five rounds will be held at Karting tracks in Hyderabad, Coimbatore & Bangalore.

In addition to Mohites Racing, Rayo Racing and Meco Racing, the 2013 season will also witness the debut of two new Karting teams – Chennai’s Dark Don Racing and Bangalore-based India Karting. While Bangalore based Team India karting is a new entrant, Team Dark Don Racing has already proved its mettle in racing and were crowned Champions in the JK Tyre National Racing Championship 2012.

The event will begin with official practice for the three categories on Saturday, June 15. This will be followed by qualifying, starting at 11:45am on the same day. Heat 1 and 2, and the main races will be held on Sunday, June 16.

The Championship will feature well-known names on the Indian Karting circuit such as Kush Maini, Yash Aradhaya, Nayan Chatterjee, Tejas Chandrashekar and Abhirath Shetty and Vishnu Prasad, Chittesh Mandody, and Akhil Rabindra as well as last year’s defending champions Pradyumn V Danigond, Krishnaraj Mahadik and Ameya Bafna. The winners of the JK Tyre National Rotax Max Karting Championship 2013 will get an opportunity to represent the country at the 2013 Rotax Grand Finals in USA.

Balveer, Natkhat pari and Dooba Dooba are all on dharti-lok and the most interesting part is that they are in disguise and absolutely unrecognizable. The sequence begins with all three of them steeping down to dharti-lok to get the wand off the kids’ hands. In the midst of all the chaos, there is a cyclone and it is Natkhat pari in her natkhat new avatar who spots Bawander pari.

While both sides are looking for the wand, Balveer to save the planet and Bawander pari to destroy the planet, the question is which side ultimately gets the wand? Will Balveer succeed in his attempts at getting the wand or will Bawander pari outsmart him and eventually over power him?

Speaking of the sequence and her avatar, Aditi Sajwan (Natkhat pari) stated, “I’m really excited for this sequence to take place. It is a very interesting action-packed track. Dooba Dooba and I are to help Balveer find the wand. And for this, we have to disguise ourselves to protect our identities. I had a really great time shooting for this sequence and I’m sure that the viewers are going to thoroughly enjoy watching it.”

An elated Dev Joshi stated, “Playing my part in this track was a lot of fun. I come down to dharti-lok to find a wand and I’m extremely hell bent on getting it no matter what. I have Natkhat pari & Dooba Dooba who are also unceasingly supporting me in every way possible to save the planet. There’s some great action, a lot of magic and lots of entertainment coming the way of the audiences. Shooting for this track for great fun!”

Even though the hell-bent, heroic Balveer is successful at securing the wand, he is finally unable to trap Bawander Pari. So, there’s lots more to see of Bawander pari and hopefully soon, a face-off between the two. But what are the evil schemes running through Bawander pari’s mind now? Where is she going to unleash the ‘bawander’ to cause misery?

A Month of Promotions for Krrish 3

Hrithik Roshan’s Krrish 3 is one of the most awaited films of the year. Understandably, the actor plans to pull out all stops to promote the third part of the superhero franchise. We have learned that he has kept aside an entire month to promote the film across the world.

An insider close to the project reveals, “Starting from the first week of October, Hrithik will take a month’s break to market the film, right until its release in the first week of November. The idea is to reach out to as many fans as possible during that time, because Rakeshji (Roshan; director) hasn’t started any kind of promotional activity yet. Even Hrithik has been off the media’s radar for a while now, since his last release, Agneepath (2012) was over a year ago.”

Interestingly, Hrithik is expected to travel to places like Dubai, Canada, UK and USA to promote Krrish 3. “Since he needs to promote the film in India as well as internationally, he will require time for the same,” adds the insider.

The actor is currently busy shooting for Siddharth Anand’s Bang Bang with Katrina Kaif. He’s also teaming up once again with his Agneepath director, Karan Malhotra, for Shuddhi.

When contacted, Rakesh confirms, “Yes, Hrithik is going to take time off. But other details like the country and locations that he will visit are yet to be worked out.”
