Balaji has pulled out yet another ace from its armoury.

The second track that is due to being released from the forthcoming “Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara” is the evergreen “Tayyab Ali Pyaar Ka Dushman” from the yesteryear’s cult film, “Amar Akbar Anthony”.

Leaving no stone unturned to deliver a chartbusting soundtrack, Balaji has gone ahead and secured the official rights to recreate the original, which was picturised on Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Singh.

The new track from “Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara” features Imran Khan and Sonakshi Sinha and was shot over 6 days on an elaborate set built at Mumbai’s Film City. It has been choreographed by Raju Khan and rendered by Javed Ali. It is expected to go on air before the start of Ramadan.

Imran plays a Muslim (Aslam) for the first time in a track that promises to be his first major ‘mass’ number.

The first track, “Ye Tune Kya Kiya”, composed by Pritam, rendered by the famous Pakistani qawwal Javed Bashir and shot on Akshay Kumar, Imran and Sonakshi, was unveiled recently and swiftly shot up the charts by emerging as the No.1 track on Youtube India.

During his recent visit to Birmingham to watch the India-Pakistan match and promote his forthcoming ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’, Akshay Kumar came face-to-face with former Farokh Engineer who was extremely happy to meet him.

Farokh Engineer is a former Indian cricketer of Parsi background who played 46 Tests for India and played first-class cricket for Mumbai in India and Lancashire in England. Engineer’s active international career started in 1961 and continued to 1975, and he was India’s first-choice wicket-keeper for most of that period. He was also a highly useful, stylish and very aggressive batsman.

While the rains played spoilsport at Edgbaston, Akshay and Farokh got into a conversation about fitness and Bollywood, which included a discussion on ‘Once Upon A Time In Mumbai Dobaara’, which releases worldwide on August 15.

Says Akshay, “It was great meeting a stalwart cricketer like Farokh Engineer at the match. We had a great conversation about my forthcoming film and the fact that we were in the same school (Don Bosco).”
