Pooja Misrra a showstoper in a baby pink bra in aid of breast cancer.

Recently there was an event called “Festival of Hope” held in Delhi, which was in aid of Breast Cancer. Many celebrities from all walks of life walked on ramp including Neena Gupta among others. We spotted the ever so hot and innovative Model/Vj/Actress Pooja Misrra showstopping for the same show.

She took the stage in a blue jacket and as she reached the head ramp she removed the jacket to reveal a baby pink [the color of breast cancer] bra which she was wearing inside. We were really glad to know that the shy and conservative Pooja did so for a good, noble cause. Pooja bounced back into focus by participating in this show and that to for a cause “Breast Cancer Awareness”.

Ramaiya Vastavaiya celebrates the wrap of its last schedule

The team of Tips’ Ramaiya Vastavaiya celebrated the wrap of the film’s last schedule at Filmistan Studios,Mumbai.

It was an emotional day as producer Kumar Taurani, director Prabhudheva, leads Girish Kumar and Shruti Haasan, Randhir Kapoor, Poonam Dhillon and Satish Shah celebrated the last schedule of the film post the pack-up of the shot ,where the entire cast and crew gathered to cut a special cake organized by the production house.The team also had much reason to celebrate since the colorful and extravagant entertainer replete with music, drama and action recently saw its first look trailer launch on the social media platform, receiving encouraging reviews from the audience and critics alike.

Chitrangda denies rumours of her divorce

Constant speculation over her marriage has Chitrangda and her family deeply disturbed,as sources elucidate that the trips to court were merely to address property settlement issues and in no way had any connection to her marriage.

Not only has the incident been blown out of proportion but Chitrangda too has not been contacted to verify the news –

Says a source close to Chitrangda, “There was an internal settlement of a property issue because of which the family was in and out of the courts through the day which has led to a speculation on other matters. Hope this puts rumors to rest for good”. On being asked the actress says,”We were at the courts for an internal settlement of a property issue so our family was in and out of court the entire day . Because of which there is an obvious speculation…”

At 42nd WorldSkills Competition

International skills competition to be held in Germany in July 2013

Mumbai, India, 13th May, 2013 – Rahul Gomes Pereira, a student of the prestigious Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development has been selected to represent India in the cooking skills category at the renowned 42nd WorldSkills global competition in Leipzig, Germany in July 2013. India will be competing in a total of 22 skills against the world’s best young talent. Rahul is the sole Indian representative to the competition as the torch-bearer for India’s cooking skills.

Rahul, a Kitchen Management Associate will be accompanied by his trainer and mentor, Chef Parvinder Singh Bali, Programme Manager Culinary Services at The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development and will be competing to demonstrate the best of his culinary prowess against chefs from 52 other countries.

With the competition’s criteria stipulating that candidates can be no older than 22 years old at the time of competition, preliminary rounds of the competition were held across all regions in India. Finalists were selected for all skills, except cooking in Pune in March 2013. Rahul impressed the jury with his expertise and was selected to represent India at the cooking finals, held at The Oberoi Centre of Learning and Development on 30th and 31st March, 2013.

WorldSkills gives young talent between the ages of 17 to 22 the opportunity to demonstrate their excellence in skilled professions. Winners are awarded medals and certificates of achievement recognising their skills and abilities in their respective fields.

Rs 3.25 crore for 75+ NGOs raised till date through TCS World 10K Bangalore 2013

The charity drive associated with the TCS World 10K Bangalore 2013 is set for a huge increase, gong by the early response, according to Bangalore Cares the official charity partner to the event. Speaking at a media interaction at the ITC Windsor on Monday, Murray Culshaw, chairperson of the Bangalore Cares said that the event has already garners Rs 3.25 crores in accounted funds and that amount is expected to increase significantly in the coming days and in the days following the event.
