Rapper with a “Golden Heart” visits the poverty-stricken children
Hard Kaur, we all know her as the flamboyant, bold and the all so vibrant singer. Hard Kaur is full of energy as she is known nationally and internationally for her rapping style and personality. However what we do not know about Hard Kaur is, this rapper also has soft corner for children. Soon after the launch of her newest album “P.L.A.Y” Hard Kaur who had been to Chandigarh for its promotions visited the poverty-stricken children. The event was conducted by ‘Global Environment Concern foundation’ (GEC foundation), an NGO working on Environment in North India.
Despite of her busy schedule Hard Kaur made time for these children. For the children to meet somebody like Hard Kaur was a dream come true. The star only seen on a TV was in front of them which excited them and they sang and danced along with Hard Kaur to her peppy numbers like “Laung da Lashkara” and “Party abhi baaki hai”. “I could link myself with these kids and I loved every minute being with them. The time passed so quickly that I was not in a mood to leave them,” said Hard Kaur.
Not only did the singer had a gala time with the kids but shared a few inspiring words with them. While she presented the kids with her love and affection even children were not far behind in making Hard Kaur feel special. A cake was presented by the children to Hard Kaur as a symbol of their love and appreciation.

Get ready for the addiction!

Poonam Pandey’s debut film is called Nasha. The former Kingfisher model was signed a while ago by Producers Surender Suneja and Aditya Bhatia for their first film.
“It can be Nasha of any sort. There are people who are high on life today. Some people need some nasha as a crutch to move along in life. The film however talks about the addictions of the youth, one of which is connected to the main storyline of the film. This is a film for the youth, it is a coming of age film. It is a film that every moviegoer will identify with,” says Poonam about her debut film.
For director Amit Saxena who has donned the director’s hat for the second time in a Hindi feature film after a stint in the US of A, the film is much more than a movie. “Nasha is a cult title. Till date no feature film with just the word Nasha has been made in the world,” says Saxena. The first look of the film which was shot recently and a picture leaked out from the said campaign is already creating a buzz.
Producer Aditya Bhatia says that the film is for adults only. “We are making a classy film. Amit has directed Jism earlier with Bipasha Basu and John Abraham and shown the stuff he has been made of. Poonam Pandey’s growing cult status is an important facet that we cannot overlook. Adult movies are doing well in the cinemas today and we are making movies for the big screen and Nasha will show the world that India can also make bold cinema that is still classy,” he says clearly.

The five alphabets comprising the title of the film have been made using the starcast of the movie. Whose limb was used to make what is however left to the imagination of the audiences. Nasha goes on the floors next week in Mumbai and outdoor locales.

Pink City all set to host JK Tyre-FMSCI Indian National TSD Rally Championship 2012

~Round 3 of National Championship to be flagged off on November 3rd 2012 in Jaipur~

Jaipur, November 2, 2012: The beautiful city of Jaipur is all geared up to witness a weekend of thrilling action and adventure as the inaugural JK Tyre-FMSCI Indian National TSD Rally heads to the capital of Rajasthan after visiting Bangalore and Ranchi during Rounds 1 and 2. Fifty of India’s top rally drivers will battle it out in different categories in the 3rd round of the challenging national championship titled ‘Rally of Jaypore’. Shri B L Soni, Commissioner of Police, Jaipur, will flag off the rally at 4:00 pm on Saturday, November 3rd 2012 from the city’s Fern Hotel.

Round 3 has attracted 25 entries in the Pro-Expert and Pro-Stock Categories while 25 drivers are expected to take part in the Novice Class, which is open to first-timers wanting to experience the thrill of professionally organised motor rallying. Like in previous rounds, the Rally of Jaypore will see constructors such as Maruti, Mahindra, TATA, Volkswagen and others marking their presence in the rally through private entries.

Covering an approximate distance of 200 kms, the rally will begin from the Fern Hotel at 7:00 am on Sunday, November 4th 2012. The rally will test the skills of the drivers and navigators and pass through some of Rajasthan’s most charming yet rugged locales such as Jaigarh & Nahargarh Fort, Amer Fort, Achrol, Ramgarh, Raisar and will end in Jaipur before heading back to the hotel at around 4:00 pm.

Being conducted under the aegis of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), the Rally of Jaypore is part of India’s first national Time-Speed-Distance (TSD) Rally Championship and marks JK Tyre’s return to rallying after a decade. It is promoted by the Mysore based Berunda Adventure Club and is being held over six rounds across India.

Mr. Sanjay Sharma, Head – Motorsport, JK Tyre & Industries Limited said, “Jaipur has a rich history in cars and motorsport and we are pleased to bring one leg of our first national TSD rally championship here. The city offers drivers some spectacular terrain and challenging driving conditions and with Jaipur’s warmth and hospitality, we’re sure Round 3 will be a very exciting affair.”

The ‘Wild Adventure Rally’ that concluded in Ranchi on September 16 was Round 2 of the national challenge, receiving an overwhelming response and some intense competition from a number of experienced teams. The duo of Sachin Singh and M Chandrashekar from Hyderabad and Bangalore driving a Tata Sumo won Round 2 with a penalty time of just 45 seconds. In the Pro-Stock class, Bangalore’s Chidananda Murthy and BS Sujith Kumar repeated their Round one victory by topping their class. The pair, driving a Tata Indica Vista, completed proceedings with a penalty time of 3 minutes 23 seconds. Wining the Novice Class in a Maruti Swift were Ashish Agrawal and Aditya Modi with a penalty of 00:07:16.

TSD rallying places a lot of emphasis on maintaining clear-cut timing and average speeds that are at or below the legal limit, on different segments of a route. Events are conducted on a carefully chosen predefined route, which may be a public road or a country back road, following traffic rules and in the presence of other vehicles. Each participating car has a driver and navigator who are provided with route instructions, in addition to instructions to keep a team on course with assigned average speeds for each stage of the route.

About JK Tyre Motorsports

JK Tyre has always been closely associated with the world of sports. Almost three decades back the company laid down a long term and sustained approach to promote Motorsport. Participating in this form of the sport has helped the company in continuously updating its products to meet the challenges of gruelling Indian conditions. The sport at that time in India was perceived for elite but JK Tyre took upon itself to package and redesign the sport to suit the masses. The company not only made the sport affordable but also equivalent to International operating standards. JK Tyre’s foray into Motorsport was a well thought out strategic decision to not only use and develop this virgin branding platform but also to realize the dreams of making India a force in the field of motor sport.

In 2011, the company acquired the Formula BMW Series and rechristened it as the JK Racing Asia Series (JKRAS). With this acquisition, JK Tyre created history in Indian Motorsport by becoming the first Indian company to acquire an FIA accredited series. The series has to its credit of producing as many as six of the current Formula One drivers, including reigning two- time champion Sebastian Vettel. By taking over the series, JK Tyre promises to utilize it as a platform to encourage and support the world’s best racing drivers and promote India as one of Asia’s motorsport capitals. Thus, JK Tyre has conquered two steps in the motorsport program where the new racing aspirants first establish themselves in India, then graduate to Asian level i.e. to Formula BMW, which is now JKRAS and then they move to higher levels of racing. JK Tyre now stands closer to achieving its mission of bringing world-class motorsport to the Indian masses.

The Racing and Karting programme by JK Tyre has been the breeding ground for the country’s motorsport talents like Narain Karthikeyan, Armaan Ebrahim, Karun Chandhok, Aditya Patel and other emerging talents.
