65.1% Indian Women Voted For Neetu Singh & Ranbir Kapoor as ‘India’s Most Admired Mother-Son Pair’

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan chosen as ‘India’s Most Popular Mother’

India, 12May, 2014: With Mother’s Day celebration, Shaadi.com, the world’s largest matrimonial service conducted a survey to find out who the most popular mother is. When asked about who the Most Popular Mother was, 46.6% Indian women voted for Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, followed by Shilpa Shetty (32.3%) and Malaika Arora Khan (21.1%).



When it comes to striking the right balance between their career and family life, interestingly, 40.2% Indian women voted for Chanda Kochhar (30.2%), followed by Neeta Ambani (33.1%) and Madhuri Dixit (26.7%).

The survey further reveals that 61.5% Indian women think Neetu Singh and Ranbir Kapoor make ‘India’s Most Admired Mother-Son pair’, while 37.5% women feel that Soni Razdan  and Alia Bhatt make ‘India’s Most Admired Mother-Daughter pair’. This online poll received over 4,300 responses.

Another interesting insight is that 43.6% Indian women think that Bollywood bachelor Ranbir Kapoor would make an Ideal husband because of the closeness he shares with his mother, followed by Yuvraj Singh (30.3%) and Karan Johar (26.1%).  This indicates that men who are close to their mothers are perceived as sensitive, nurturing and patient.
