Synopsis : A DOT COM MOM is a story of a simple middle class mother from a small town. Like any other Indian house wife she works hard to raise her son. Her smart son goes to the USA and becomes super successful. He invites his parents to visit him and his wife to share their success .Only mother goes to the USA .Her son is excited and wants to show her the whole USA. But this simple mother cannot cope with the modern ways of the new country and gets in trouble.
The daughter in law cannot bear mother-in-law’s presence in her house. Finally instead of staying for 4 months she decides to come back to India early. Months pass by and a situation comes when her son wants mother to go back to the USA.

donation camps in rural and city areas, to NIMHANS on September 23, 2016. U B Pravin Rao, COO,

Infosys Ltd handed over the bus to Dr. B N Gangadhara, Director, NIMHANS, at the Infosys Bengaluru

campus. As part of the ceremony, a blood donation camp was also organized on campus.

The fully air-conditioned collection bus is equipped with collection and storage of 250 litres of blood at a

time along with a storage facility for 12 foldable cots. It also includes the required medical equipment in

Mumbai: GoAir, one of India’s fastest growing airlines, today announced the commencement of additional flights and feeder connections to deal with the growing demand for flights into Kolkata and Bagdogra during the busy Durga Puja period.

 

The additional flights will now ensure that GoAir flies Delhi to Bagdogra twice daily commencing on the 3rd of October, 2016 and Delhi to Kolkata thrice daily commencing on 4thof October 2016.

 

Further GoAir will be introducing its first ever direct flight from Chennai to Kolkata effective 12th October onwards.

 

Bookings can be availed through the company website, www.GoAir.in or online travel portals, GoAir Call Centre, airport ticketing offices, through travel agents, and the GoAir App that is available on both Apple iOS and Google Android. ICICI Bank organizes 350 Kisan Sampark Melas across Punjab & Haryana in one month

Chandigarh: ICICI Bank Limited, India’s largest private sector bank, organised ‘Kisan Sampark Melas‘ across Punjab and Haryana last monthas a part of its financial inclusion plan. The Bank reached out to over 10,000 villagers through 350 Kisan Sampark Melas held in both states.

 

These Melas were conducted at various centres including Ambala, Hissar, Gohana, Jind, Shahbad, Tarori Mandi, Ahmedgarh, Ropar, Fazilka, Sirsa, Mansa, Nabha, Nawanshahar, Sangrur, Zirakpur, Faridkot, Gurdaspur, Kapurthala, Muktsar, Nakodar, Taran Taran, Fatehabad, Jhajjar and Kaithal.

 

The Bank conducts ‘Kisan Sampark Melas’ across the country to provide financial literacy to the people of unbanked areas. It uses comic books, audio-visual tools and group discussions as a medium to communicate with them.

 

The Bank showcased a list of tailor-made products and services at these events including farmer finance, jewel loans, tractor loans, Rural Business Credit and Kisan Kalpviraksh. Additionally, it also imparted financial education and awareness on inculcating savings habit and advantages of banking facilities such as the savings and term deposit accounts.

 

ICICI Bank provides farmer finance through Kisan Credit Card (KCC) and Agri-term Loan (ATL) for the cultivation and development of agricultural land. Under Rural Business Credit (RBC), the Bank offers working capital and term loan to business entities in rural and semi- urban areas. The rural customers can also get overdraft (OD) against fixed deposits (FD) under the Bank’s Kisan Kalpviraksh scheme. The Bank also offers various basic savings accounts to the customers based on their profile and requirements.

 

Currently, ICICI Bank has around 400 branches in Punjab and Haryana, half of which are in semi urban and rural areas, including 62 branches in villages, which were so far devoid of any banking facility. As on March 31, 2016, the Bank had 2,293 branches in rural and semi-urban locations across the country, which constituted 52% of the Bank’s total branch network and included 573 branches in unbanked locations.
